General Hospital Update: Monday, July 24 – Ghastly Discovery, Nanny Fight Breaks Out and Fresh Start Restaurant
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, July 24, indicates that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will continue spying on Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth), so that’ll lead to him discovering something ghastly.
Perhaps Dex will overhear something about a body being moved and go running to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with updates.
Regardless, Sonny will be pleased over the progress Dex is making and will want him following Austin so he can score more info.
At Wyndemere, GH spoilers say Ava Jerome (Maura West) will spar with Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini), who happens to be the new nanny that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) told her about.
Since Betty is a dangerous part of the same organization, Ava will be wary when it comes to having her around Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
Besides, Ava will have her doubts about whether Betty can dupe Sonny, who has a hunch for sniffing out fakes and problematic people from a mile away.
Although Austin will push Ava to just go along with this Betty addition, things will change when Sonny catches her in the middle of a faceoff with Betty.
After Sonny requests some privacy, he’ll make it clear that he’s done playing games.
Sonny will pressure Ava to just tell him the real story so he can help clean up the mess.
Since Ava is at her breaking point, she’ll decide honesty is the best policy – at least when it comes to Sonny since he’s Avery’s dad and deserves to know what’s happening.
At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will tell Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) about Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) arrest news.
Willow and Michael will wonder why Sasha had such a massive mental health setback out of the blue.
The idea of Sasha being locked up at Ferncliff will continue to worry Nina, so she’ll connect with Willow since they both want what’s best for their friend.
At Pentonville, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will have a hunch that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) wants him to take drastic action.
Cyrus may hope to wind Drew up and point him in the direction of “Book,” (Brad Schmidt) for a showdown.
Since Cyrus has had run-ins with “Book” before and no doubt wants him gone, he may hope Drew will use the little present he offered and eliminate him.
However, Drew won’t want Cyrus thinking he can just dish out orders whenever he feels like it.
Cyrus will face Drew’s suspicions and a stern warning, so stay tuned to see how Cyrus will respond.
Since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) got a phone call that caught her off guard, she’ll ultimately use the family app to track Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) down and confront her.
Josslyn will catch up with Carly at Kelly’s, where she’ll admit a classmate’s mother asked her to put in a good word for her.
Carly won’t understand, so Josslyn will clarify that this is about the sale of the house.
After Carly explains her reasons, she’ll admit she’s also the proud new owner of Kelly’s since she paid Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) a dollar for it.
Carly will plan to give Bobbie more money eventually, but this is an affordable option that’ll help with her finances in the meantime.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will embrace this fresh start running Kelly’s and will seem positive about the future for the first time in a while.
