General Hospital Star Laura Wright Celebrates Last Day Before Break
General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that summer is officially here! As kids gear up for the best two months of the year, and parents plan vacations and other activities, the gang over in Port Charles is also heading for a little break between filming.
In fact, actress Laura Wright, who plays Carly Spencer, recently took the time to acknowledge GH’s break in shooting, as she and her castmates gear up for some downtime.
Summertime Is The Best Time
Wright hopped on social media and uploaded a photo of the front of General Hospital onto her Instagram Stories. A caption on the lower, right-hand of the photo read, “Last day before summer break!!!” The next photo in Wright’s IG Stories was a selfie of her, with the caption, “Such a great day … super grateful,” and she tagged General Hospital’s Instagram handle.
The cast and crew generally take some time off at this point every year, so it’s nice that they can all enjoy some downtime from their grueling soap schedules.
No Break From The Port Charles Drama
With that said, there will be no break from the drama in Port Charles this summer. Right now, Carly has her fair share of it, helping Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) resettle into life in the little town, as a single dad, no less, while also welcoming her newest granddaughter into the fold, Baby Daisy (Levi Clark Coughlin).
In addition, she’s still romancing WSB agent Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), but who knows how long this will last, considering all the secrets he’s keeping from his gal pal.
In addition, Carly has her hands full warding off Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and her crazy plan to draw Carly into Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding drama with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so only time will tell on whether or not she’ll get wrapped up in that. At this point, it sounds like Carly could use a summer break more than Laura Wright!
