General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, April 9 – Carly Rescues John – Sonny Suspicious of Drew – Jason Needs a Favor

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, April 9, reveal that the drama will heat up on the ABC soap, but let’s discuss a programming note first. GH will be preempted for eclipse coverage on Monday, April 8, but there’ll be a new episode on Tuesday as all the action resumes in Port Charles.

For starters, Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will have a Crimson-related faceoff, but Nina will hope they can find a way to dial down all the tension.

When Nina proposes a solution, Drew will ask what he gets out of this.

Although Drew will be skeptical at first, it won’t be long until Drew and Nina are reaching a compromise.

That could be good news for Crimson, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be suspicious once he gets updates on Drew’s hiring decision.

At his penthouse, Sonny will question why Drew would hire the woman who put him in prison.

That won’t make sense to Sonny, so he may suspect Drew has an agenda and is plotting Nina’s downfall somehow.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will likely be the one who fills Sonny in, so that’ll give her a chance to witness Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) unsettling behavior.

It looks like Kristina may get the feeling that Ava is manipulating Sonny and become determined to stop it.

Other GH spoilers say Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will talk about someone doing something without her input – and she’ll admit it’s not the first time.

Whether this is about Nina or someone else, Olivia will seem annoyed as she speaks her mind.

Next, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will meet with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and talk about someone working behind the scenes in his favor.

Jason presumably won’t go into the details of his deal with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington), but he’ll need Diane to do something else for him – something that may not go over well with Sonny!

It’s possible Jason will get Diane to pass along a message since we know Sonny will be livid on Tuesday’s GH episode.

Sonny will blow his top over Jason’s actions once again, so there’s no sign of these two patching things up anytime soon.

Elsewhere, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will be in her vehicle when she spots something shocking in the distance.

“Hey! Leave him alone!” Carly shouts as she honks in Tuesday’s preview video.

General Hospital spoilers say Carly will find John in a risky situation, so our predictions suggest she’ll rescue him from some danger.

John might get attacked until Carly intervenes by causing a commotion.

Finally, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will talk to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) about her job as a nurse.

Willow might admit she’s not comfortable crossing any more lines related to her career and hope that Jason can stay out of trouble from now on!
