General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) seems poised to get some bad news about her chances of conceiving a child with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Something tells us that Chase isn’t the problem here; the issue is most likely on Brook Lynn’s end based on the hints the show’s been offering.

For starters, GH writers keep playing up Brook Lynn and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) newly invented camp fling.

It’s a blatant rewrite, but now fans are meant to believe Dante and Brook Lynn buried a teen romance all those years ago.

However, there are signs that Brook Lynn took her deception a step further by concealing the fact that she had Dante’s baby.

Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is almost certainly Brook Lynn and Dante’s biological son who was given up for adoption at the time.

That brings us to a new clue in the December 17 episode. As Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) was reflecting on her own pregnancy drama of the past, Brook Lynn suddenly looked rather unsettled.

It seemed like Maxie’s mention of James West’s (Gary James Fuller) traumatic birth really hit Brook Lynn hard.

Maxie worried she’d done something to upset Brook Lynn, who admitted her fear that something was wrong since she’s struggling to get pregnant.

That’s true, but we can’t ignore the part where Brook Lynn looked upset over Maxie talking about a traumatic delivery.

Brook Lynn probably had a traumatic delivery of her own when she brought little Gio into the world!

There may be some lingering complications from that birth that Brook Lynn never knew about.

We can think of some good reasons for the story to go in that direction, so let’s discuss them.

For starters, this could be what forces Brook Lynn to reveal her big secret to Chase.

Dr. Frida Navarro (Christina Ferraro) may tell Brook Lynn that it’s unlikely she’ll ever conceive again due to what happened with her first baby.

That could lead to Brook Lynn finally breaking down and telling Chase everything. Chase certainly deserves to know why his baby-making efforts with Brook Lynn aren’t paying off.

Of course, this could also make Brook Lynn realize the kid she gave up for adoption is her only chance to have one.

That might lead Brook Lynn to kick off a search for the child she gave up – not realizing Gio is the mystery son who’s already living under the same roof.

Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) seems to be the only one who knows the whole story here, so our predictions hint that she could end up facing a major dilemma!
