General Hospital Spoilers: Dante & Sasha’s Chance at Romance – Spares Jason from Wrong Match?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is still grieving the loss of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), but we have no doubt that he’ll find love again sooner or later. Although Dante seems poised for a romantic reunion with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), it could take some time to get there.
Lulu blew up at Dante for derailing her chance to bring Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) home, which led to Dante blowing up right back.
Dante feels like Lulu is taking too many risks and doesn’t approve, especially since Sam lost her life after saving Lulu’s.
It’s clear that Dante and Lulu have some issues they still need to work out, so that could open the door to some other pairings in the meantime.
Lulu and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) are most likely going to fall for each other for a while, but where does that leave Dante?
We can think of one match for Dante that might work well – especially since it would save Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) from his own romantic mismatch.
Although some GH fans are on board with Jason and Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) as a potential couple, plenty of others are against them becoming an item.
Jason seems poised to look out for pregnant Sasha while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is recovering off canvas, so that could lead to love blooming.
However, there’s no guarantee the writers will stick with that Sasha and Jason plan, especially if the chemistry doesn’t work and there’s fan backlash.
Dante and Sasha might make a better match, so maybe they could bond over what they have in common.
Sasha could relate to Dante since she had to deal with the tragic loss of Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and be there for him as he mourns for Sam.
Plus, Dante and Sasha both found their biological fathers as adults, so that’s something else they could connect over.
Since Dante is Michael’s brother, he could also bond with Sasha over their mutual concerns about Michael as he recovers.
Dante should eventually find out that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) hid a child from him and that their son grew up to be Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), so he’s going to need someone to lean on once all that news comes to light.
