General Hospital Spoilers reveal Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is on a warpath to ruin Sonny Corinthos (Chad Duell), and this time, he just might succeed. Dex figures there’s only one way he’s ever going to prove to Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) that he’s still a good man — and that’s by actually becoming one.
He came so close to letting Sonny corrupt him and steal his soul when he nearly killed Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Now he has seen the light and knows the way forward must begin with bringing Sonny to his knees.
Can he earn Joss’ love and respect back by finally giving her what she’s wanted all along — Sonny in a jail cell?
General Hospital Spoilers — Ironic Origins
It’s ironic that when Dex first came to town, it was under Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) covert employ. Michael was drooling over a future that didn’t have his father in it inflicting pain on all of them.
He wanted revenge for the heartbreak Sonny caused when he came home from Nixon Falls and betrayed his mother with Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros). He wanted to see Port Charles free of Sonny’s mob reign.
Michael wanted to see his mother free of the ties to her mobster ex-husband. Dex was once the solution to all of that.
Was it far too easy to convince Dex to switch from setting Sonny up to looking out for him?
It appears so, given how easily he just flipped on him after losing Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy).
GH Spoilers Say Michael Gets Wind of the Truth
If Dex takes Anna up on her offer to join the police force, it’s likely we will see him working alongside Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) for the foreseeable future.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will either be in a coma, dead, or recovering from being shot. It’s going to be a while before he can come back to work even if he survives this.
Rumor has it Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) could find out the real reason Dex is on the force — to help Anna take Sonny down — and she might be a bit too loyal to her “Uncle Sonny” to let that slide. Will she tell Michael the truth?
General Hospital Spoilers — Like Father, Like Son
We’ve noticed the foreshadowing for a while now. Michael is keen on protecting his father, no matter the cost.
That could even mean paying the price with his own family.
Whatever it takes to keep Sonny safe as his allies continue to fall by the wayside, Michael will do it.
If he has to step into the role of Sonny’s enforcer or help him run the “family business,” no one would be surprised to see him do it at this point — except maybe for Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), who might try to support him but won’t really be down with this in the end.
Will she forgive Michael for taking their lives off-course if he saves his dad in the process and mends their relationship?
