General Hospital predictions suspect Ava Jerome may be leaving the show now that GH is turning her character back into a villainess. Is this the end for Ava on the ABC soap opera?
Ava Jerome’s Character Gets a Shake-up on General Hospital
Currently, on GH, Ava Jerome is rapidly becoming public enemy number one. No doubt, she has a shady and violent past. However, for a while, it seemed that she was finally starting to be accepted by most people in Port Charles.
But, now, that’s starting to change and she appears to be jumping to the top of everyone’s most hated list. First, she betrayed her best friend, Nina Reeves, by pretending to help her reconcile with her estranged husband, Sonny Corinthos.
But all the while, Ava had no intention of helping Nina reunite with Sonny on General Hospital. Instead, she liked how close she was getting to him and wanted him for herself. That’s when her behavior started getting even more shady.
She found out there was something wrong with Sonny’s bipolar meds. And yet she still hasn’t told him or anyone else. Furthermore, she is still trying to make herself indispensable to the kingpin and put more distance between him and his family.
Then, more recently, there was another shocking twist. It turns out, that Ava is the one who got the ball rolling on Alexis Davis’ legal disbarment a few years ago. Now, Alexis vows revenge, which may be the beginning of Ava’s downfall on General Hospital.
Ava Lands in Prison on GH?
Recently, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) confronted Ava Jerome (Maura West) on her disbarment. Ava claims that Alexis has no one to blame but herself. However, it was Ava who reported Alexis because she blames her for the death of her brother Julian Jerome (William deVry).
She believes Julian would still be alive if it wasn’t for Alexis. So, she wanted her to pay, and indeed, she did. She sank deep into her alcoholism and her life spiraled out of control. Furthermore, she spent time in Pentonville. So, now, she vows that whether she gets her law license back or not, she will make Ava pay on General Hospital.
She brought up the fact that Ava has committed crimes in the past and was never prosecuted for them. And she promises to make her regret her actions. So, she could very well try to get Ava prosecuted and thrown in prison for one of her past crimes. Or perhaps, she may uncover a more recent crime of Ava’s.
Especially, if she gets back her license to practice law. Indeed, the way things are going, it looks like Ava could soon be going down one way or another. If not by Alexis, perhaps, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will get rid of Ava when he finds out she’s been keeping things from him.
General Hospital Prediction: Maura West Leaving?
Indeed, there’s a possibility Ava could be on her way out soon. Little by little, she’s losing just about everyone in her life. Her former bestie, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), is now her sworn enemy. Plus, Sonny’s family hates her again. Plus, he may also turn on her when he discovers he’s been hiding the truth about his medication from him.
So, if Alexis doesn’t put Ava in jail, Sonny may either have her killed or run her out of town. Indeed, it looks as though her character is being ruined beyond repair. She spent the last several years trying to prove that she’s changed and get back into everyone’s good graces on General Hospital.
But all of that seems to be out the window and she is a baddie once again. Hopefully, she will be sticking around because fans love her, whether she’s good or bad.
