General Hospital Prediction: Sonny Corinthos Going Down at Last?
General Hospital predictions suspect Sonny Corinthos may finally go down after decades of avoiding prosecution. The number of people trying to take the kingpin down is growing rapidly, and he may run out of luck soon on the ABC sudser.
General Hospital: The Odds Stacked against Sonny Corinthos
Currently, on GH, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) circle of trust is getting smaller and smaller. First, his wife, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) broke his trust by turning Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) into the SEC. What’s worse is that she kept the truth from him.
Then, he discovered that his son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), hired Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to infiltrate his organization and get incriminating evidence against him. Eventually, they both changed their minds about Sonny and wanted to protect him.
However, the betrayal is still there on General Hospital. Now that Dex no longer works for the mobster, and his girlfriend, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), broke up with him, he wants to put him away. And he recently offered to help Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) take him down.
Of course, Anna is usually on Sonny’s side, but after Dex’s confession, she sees him differently. Then, of course, there’s the return of John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) who wants nothing more than to put the Don in prison for life.
And soon, Anna may work with “Jagger” to bring him to justice on General Hospital. Then, on top of that, there’s Jason Morgan‘s (Steve Burton) return. Jason has always been Sonny’s best friend and right-hand man.
But now, he thinks Jason is trying to kill him. Furthermore, he suspects Jason shot his son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). So there are very few people that Sonny can trust. However, what he doesn’t know, is that Jason is still trying to help him.
Jason Remains Loyal on GH
Of course, Jason does not want to take his good friend out on General Hospital. Once he realized Sonny was the target he messed up the sniper shot. He also did not shoot Dante — he saved his life. In fact, he has spent the last two years away trying to keep Sonny out of prison.
It looks like the only reason Jason didn’t go right back to Port Charles after surviving the tunnel collapse in Greece was because “Jagger” snatched him up. The FBI agent showed “Stone Cold” a bunch of RICO violations that most likely are against Sonny.
And he could face 20 years in Pentonville. So, Jason agreed to complete a mission for “Jagger” but the mission is not complete yet. Recently, on General Hospital, Jason explained to Michael what’s been going on the past couple of years.
And he said that if he doesn’t finish the mission, something will happen that he can’t live with. Most likely, that is Sonny doing hard time in prison. So, Jason still has his back and is doing what’s best for him. Hopefully, Sonny will figure that out soon.
Sonny Lands in Prison on General Hospital?
So, with people lining up to destroy Sonny, he could very well spend the rest of his days in the slammer. He’s managed to escape every charge thrown at him for the past three decades.
But, now, there are so many people going after him, his downfall might be inevitable. And even Jason might not be able to save him. GH is full of surprises. Be sure to keep watching to see if Sonny Corinthos ends up behind bars on the ABC daytime drama.
