Sonny’s About to Get a Major Breakthrough!
The General Hospital actor’s latest social media post has fans buzzing about what’s coming next. Benard hinted that some intense stuff is on the way. In the August 5 episode, Sonny tried to see Kristina after she lost her baby. However, her sister Molly wouldn’t let him and blamed him for the tragedy instead.
Subsequently, Sonny left, feeling defeated and haunted by the harsh words from his loved ones. It’s clear that Sonny’s mental state is fragile, and the tampering with his bipolar medication could be a major trigger. Maurice took to IG to share his thoughts on the recent episode. He posted a screenshot of Sonny walking away after Molly’s confrontation.
Additionally, Benard revealed there was a lot of discussion about yesterday’s show and believes everybody at GH should be proud. “Producing, directing, writing, acting…Sometimes we take things for granted.” He knows everybody works really hard, and the episode reminded him why they work hard. Moreover, the soap vet can tell there’s a lot more to come, as he remembers it vividly.
Finally, Maurice reassured fans, “P.S. Everything is great. He is doing incredibly well.” One fan commented how they are torn apart by Sonny’s condition but feel better to know Maurice is better. The star responded by posting a new episode of his show, State of Mind, where he answered fan questions. A fan wanted Sonny to realize his medication had been tampered with.
Maurice hinted, “This is a long storyline to be off of medication. But, I gotta tell ya, the payoff is coming up…” He apparently can’t tell us yet because he’ll get in trouble. Benard joked, “No, I won’t, ’cause I’m Sonny.” Furthermore, he promised that the upcoming payoff is going to be incredible!
