General Hospital Comings And Goings: HEARTBREAKING LOSS! Nicholas Alexander Chavez Bids Permanent Goodbye
The GH fandom, especially, SPRINA fans were overjoyed when their favorite actor landed a juicy new role, recall General Hospital comings and goings. The news of Nicholas Chavez getting onboard as one of the Menendez brother’s on Ryan Muprhy’s Monsters took Daytime by storm.
Initially, fans feared that Nicholas would kiss Spencer goodbye in favor of the Netflix series. However, General Hospital comings and goings at that point had reported that the young star would only be taking a leave of absence from GH. Fans sighed in relief knowing that he would return as Spencer soon after wrapping up filming for Monsters.
Thus, when Spencer drowned alongside Esme in Paris, GH lovers only thought of it as a temporary presumed dead storyline. Unfortunately, that’s not the case anymore. TVline is carrying an exclusive that actor Nicholas Alaxander Chavez has left for good.
General Hospital comings and goings reveal that rumors about Nicholas leaving the ABC soap first surfaced in March, 2024 when some fans noticed that he wasn’t on contract anymore, per the soap’s closing credits. However, many still held on to hope that he would eventually return and get back on contract.
Alas! That hope seems rather bleak now. Some reports even suggest that Nicholas has stopped following former co-star Laura Wright on periscope. Thus, adding fuel to the already raging fire of speculations. Although it is to be noted that neither the star nor the soap has formally addressed the end of their association.
However, TVline reports that many sources close to the production have confirmed to them that Nicholas has indeed left the soap for good. This news will come as a huge heartbreak for all SPRINA fans. Especially, since they didn’t even get to say a proper goodbye to Spencer. They didn’t even properly mourn his death, believing that he would come back.
Having said that, we do have to acknowledge the fact that many actors start their careers with Daytime, but then make big career jumps when Primetime or Hollywood comes calling. Thus, exits like these are not unheard of at all.
