It can feel like characters come and go so quickly on soaps, while others become fixtures of the series. General Hospital has seen quite a few characters leave over the past year. However, fans are starting to suspect that the soap is already hinting at the return of another character: Morgan.
Morgan Has Been Coming Up Quite A Bit On General Hospital
On General Hospital, Morgan is the first biological child born to Sonny and Carly Corinthos. Played by a variety of actors over the years, Morgan was most recently brought to life by Bryan Craig, who took on the role after the character had been sent to military school.
In 2016, Morgan was will in a car bombing. However, Craig would continue to make appearances throughout the years, with Morgan as a ghost or in dream sequences.
Morgan also got a recent nod on the soap’s past Thursday episode. As seen in the episode, Sonny, while dealing with health issues, receives a visit from Brick, who shares information about who may have planted the bomb in Sonny’s penthouse that put Michael in danger.
Brick reveals he has a lead on a figure known as “Zelinsky,” also identified as “Solisky,” who Sonny already suspects of being connected to Valentin. However, it’s’ said that “Solisky” can only be contacted through the dark web.
“Solisky,” who has been tracked down to Toronto, is warned to be a dangerous threat. Despite this, Sonny and Jason agree they will soon be heading up to Canada.
Jason is apprehensive about Sonny making the trip. However, the Corinthos patriarch brandishes his gun and makes clear, “I won’t let him or anyone else come after my family again.”
After the two men leave, viewers are then treated to a lingering shot. The camera focuses on a photo of Morgan and Michael on Sonny’s desk, as played by Craig and Chad Duell, respectively.
Not All Fans Agree That The Photo Is Hinting At Things To Come
This has got fans wondering if the soap has some plans to bring Morgan back. This could mean that the character might turn out to be alive this whole time.
It’s notable that this isn’t the only recent nod to Morgan on the soap. Notably, this week saw Sonny claim Ava was to blame for Morgan’s death in an argument. In addition, if the soap is planning on bringing either Morgan or Michael back, Morgan appears to be the more likely candidate, with Chad Duell’s recent exit from the soap.
As noted by Michael Fairman TV, some fans suspect that Brennan could have made Morgan a WSB agent this whole time. This could also see him reunited with Josslyn, who is currently training for such a role. In addition, there is some speculation that “Solisky” could be connected to Morgan’s fate.
However, not all fans are in agreement about this. Some think the shot is just meant to be symbolic. Sonny has already seen two of his sons hurt or killed. This emphasizes his desires to protect his family. In the end, however, only time will tell what will happen in Port Charles.
