Brace up General Hospital fans, we are about to have our beloved Ace Cassadine back on screen soon! After Esme Prince fell to her death, er drowned to her death in Paris, baby Ace sort of hopped back to the back seat. However, that’s about to change very soon! Young stars Joey and Jay Clay who portray baby Ace were spotted on the sets of the ABC drama.
Jay and Joey’s mom, Lana Clay, took to her X (Twitter) account to share some really adorable BTS pictures of her tiny tots playing on the sets between shots. “School room on sets,” Lana captioned the picture and used Ace Cassadine as her chosen hashtag. Thus, we can safely conclude that Ace will soon bless our TV screens with his adorable presence.
For the unversed, the little munchkin is Nik Cassadine and Esme Prince’s son. However, in Nik’s absence, Spencer Cassadine was taking care of him alongside Esme. But, as we know, Esme and Spencer both drowned in Paris after a scuffle, and Laura and Kevin have been taking care of Ace ever since.
We wonder what new storyline Ace will become a part of when he reappears on the screen this time. Could we see him reunited with his father, Nikolas Cassadine? We think it’s about time Nik got out of prison! It’s been a minute! Baby Ace deserves a happy home with at least one parent. Moreover, Nik failed to be a stand-up dad for Spencer.

Perhaps he could do a better job this time with Ace. Especially since giving a stable home to Ace is all that Spencer wanted. It would be a great way of honoring his memory!
