Sister Wives fans tire of Robyn Brown acting dumb to buy herself time. So much so, that some viewers are at the point they feel like her scenes are exhausting to watch.
Robyn Brown Defaults To Confusion
Sometimes it is difficult to pinpoint why Sister Wives star, Robyn Brown does what she does. In many instances, fans have caught proof from earlier seasons that she is lying or had prior knowledge. Seemingly, it is a diversion tactic to be able to manipulate those around her. However, some fans find her “confusion” act to be very exhausting.
Fans Think Robyn Brown Acting Dumb Is ‘Exhausting’
On Reddit, Sister Wives fans discuss one scene that drove them crazy. When Kody Brown was straightforward with her about his intentions to stop trying with Janelle Brown, Robyn wasn’t able to comprehend. Kody tries to explain he isn’t going through the same thing they did with Meri Brown. But Robyn just bats her eyes and tries a different angle to convince him to keep trying. But one Redditor explains Robyn pretending not to understand is “exhausting.”
- Someone else adds, “She’s exhausting and very dull. Literally has nothing to say. In looking back at past clips, she was animated and talkative. Now she just whines, fake cries, and repeats the same old mantra…how the family was united when she first came in and now it’s completely fallen apart. Maybe at some point, she’ll see the correlation between those two events, but I doubt it.”
- Another fan explains she has a lot going on, “She is trying to build her ‘I’m confused’ storyline….while continuing her ‘victim’ storyline. And every viewer is ready to launch into the TV to smack her into reality.”
Kody Meant ‘Maybe’
When the original poster further discusses the matter, they can’t believe Robyn Brown didn’t take “no” for an answer. They relay how Kody Brown spells out that he and Janelle don’t care anymore, but still, she persists. Although many people agree that Robyn’s actions were exhausting, others had a theory it was a cry for Kody to give her some space.
- “I see it as her desperate plea to have him spend 50% of his time somewhere else.”
- But someone else thinks it is simply a battle of the wills, “The reason she keeps pushing is because every interaction between her and Cody is a war of attrition. She’s like the toddler asking for the cookie. If she asks long enough he will give her something. They both feed into this dynamic and I suspect the kids do as well.”
