Whitney Way Thore Takes Heat From MBFFL Fans
TLC fans watched Angie Burdett pour her heart out to Glenn Thore over her real parents who raised her. At the time, she said that she never wanted “to hurt them.” Adopted at a very young age, Angie finally connected with her biological father recently. According to the My Big Fat Fabulous Life show, Angie’s son Cody helped to track down Glenn. Some photos of her family in Alabama appear on social media, but not all of them take part in the TLC show.
Whitney Way Thore took a lot of heat for introducing her newly discovered half-sister to MBFFL. Many critics believed that it only happened because she ran out of her own storylines. Additionally, she was slammed because her non-fans believed she would try and get attention at her niece, Jaime Daughdrill’s wedding.
Angie Burdett’s Parents Do The Shuffle
As photos start emerging from Jaime’s wedding, they make their way across social media. On Reddit, an OP noticed that the parents who raised Angie ended up being shuffled out of the photos so Glenn, Hunter, and Whitney could get a family photo. Angry fans wonder how the people who raised Angie Burdett felt about that.

Angie’s Real Parents…How must Angie’s real parents and Jamie’s grandparents feel about being shuffled in and out of photos so the Thore’s can get the attention they crave? Whitney did a whole wedding video and didn’t even include the parents who raised Angie and Jamie. It’s complete erasure as far as Big Whit is concerned. It’s so rude.

TLC fans felt sad for the grandparents at the wedding. Furthermore, they blamed Whit for Glenn standing out like a sore thumb Additionally, they slammed the fact that Whitney Way Thore was the only one looking directly at the camera. All others focused on the bride.

In Defense Of Whitney Way Thore
Some fans of MBFFL thought that people were being too petty. So, some TLC viewers countered the haters.
- It’s pretty normal to do all kinds of setups for wedding photos. I’m sure they’re not being dismissive if Angie has anything to do with it, she has been very thoughtful when she’s been speaking about them all any time we’ve seen her. They probably don’t want to be posted so they don’t post them. Also they might be oblivious to social media and reality tv (unlike the rest of us who cannot look away lollll).
- The whole day is a blur and you roll with things as they come at you. Although I dislike Whit, it looks like her family got pictured first. and it’s not shocking that Glen and them wanted a photo with her.
