Eden McCoy Praises General Hospital Newcomer
Eden McCoy knows what it’s like to be a newbie. She joined General Hospital as Josslyn Jacks in 2015. The legacy character is the daughter of Jasper “Jax” Jacks (last played by Ingo Rademacher) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright.) She was the seventh actress to play the role but made it her own.
Giovanni Mazza recently joined the soap as Gio, part of the younger set, meaning working with Eden McCoy and Tabyana Ali (Trina) a lot. McCoy was interviewed on the red carpet at the Daytime Emmy Awards last weekend.
GH executive producer Frank Valentini and the cast were asked about current and upcoming storylines. Some fans think Gio is a possible love interest for Trina, but Eden McCoy said not so fast.
“Well I mean, you know, they bring someone and it’s like (a) trial-and-error run with every single person in the age group to try and figure out who’s gonna be with who,” she said.
But one thing is for sure – she’s enjoying working with her new co-star. “‘General Hospital’ was his first audition and he booked it and he killed it,” McCoy gushed.

Recently, Eden celebrated her birthday, and Jonathan made sure to mark the occasion in the sweetest way possible. “Happy birthday to everyone’s favorite girl and my favorite snack,” he wrote alongside a picture of him playfully biting her cheek.
“Thanks for being the air breathe,” she wrote in response.
While her General Hospital character Josslyn may be single after recently breaking up with Dex (Evan Hofer,) it’s nice to know the actress herself has found her perfect match in real life.
