Drew’s Marriage Proposal – Tries to Lock In Willow Wedding Before She’s Even Divorced?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) has become increasingly obsessed with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) in recent months. There’s a strong bond that’s driving Drew wild and making him incapable of staying away from Willow – not that he even wants to try!
Of course, Willow is doing her part to keep Drew close. It was a bad idea for Willow to invite Drew and Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) to attend the holiday festivities at Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) place, but she just couldn’t help herself.
Although Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has been clinging to hope that his marriage might be saved, he’s teetering on the edge of giving up.
Michael already received the legal separation agreement papers that Nina sent through Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), so those will no doubt be on his mind.
Willow and Michael could be headed for a full-blown divorce sooner rather than later, but Drew may not even wait that long to make a bold move.
Considering how fixated Drew is on Willow and the possibility of a future together, he just might pop the question.
It’s easy to imagine Drew blurting out a marriage proposal in an intense moment.
Willow might find herself lamenting the loss of her husband and what they built, but Drew could pipe up that she should marry him instead.
Drew could paint a picture of a new blended family that includes Scout, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko).
We might see Drew try to sell Willow on an alternate version of living happily ever after.
Once Willow inevitably finds out about Drew and Nina’s hookups, that may cheapen her own Drew connection.
It could leave Willow wondering if she really means all that much to Drew or if she’s just another conquest like Nina!
Drew might propose marriage as a way to prove that what he feels for Willow is the real deal.
