Kody Brown recently attended his son Dayton’s college graduation — but did any of the other children show up?
Over the years, Sister Wives fans have noticed that Robyn’s children don’t seem nearly as close to the other family members. Some think that the adults deliberately drove a wedge between the kids, while others think it happened naturally.
After all, Kody Brown notoriously treated his other three wives very poorly. It makes sense that there would be issues among the children as a result.
However, college graduations are generally an occasion for families to get together and celebrate. So did the other Brown family children make an appearance to cheer on Dayton?
Kody Brown was seen at the ceremony — but who else came?
Sister Wives fans recall that Dayton Brown opted to attend college in Flagstaff, Arizona. The family never specifically said so onscreen, but many viewers suspected that they moved to Flagstaff to be near Dayton. Of course, that would also likely mean that Robyn prompted the move.
Now that most of the Brown family children have left the nest, many of them have moved away. But did any show up for Dayton’s graduation?
“Kody sighting,” a Redditor titled a recent thread on the platform. “An acquaintance of mine saw Kody and Robyn at Dayton’s graduation. Everyone was getting pics with him and supposedly he was very nice. I’m sure his ego grew two sizes that day lol You couldn’t pay me to approach him.”
“Any other family members there?” another user asked.
“I don’t think so. Other than his and Robyn’s kids,” the OP replied.
“Congratulations Dayton! Now hurry home to pack your things! Go live your life for you!!!!!” one Redditor congratulated the young man.
“And for the love of everything holy, don’t tell your smother where you’re moving to!” someone else replied, taking a jab at Robyn.
No one could say for sure whether the other children attended, but it doesn’t seem probable. Now that the other three wives have left Kody, the family very seldomly reunites. And it seems like this is one trend that is bound to continue.
Big family events seem to be a thing of the past
Gwendlyn Brown is in the middle of wedding planning at the moment. She shared adorable photos from the engagement party on social media. However, it seems like many members of the Brown family opted not to attend.
The TLC star frequently reveals family secrets on her Patreon channel and doesn’t often have nice things to say about her father or Robyn. Many family members opted not to attend her engagement party, though Gwendlyn said she understood.
But after that incident, many Sister Wives fans don’t believe that the entire family will be at the wedding ceremony either. The large family gatherings seem to be over for good now.
