Dante Forms Private Detective Firm with Sam– Resigns From PCPD?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) could become the latest character to switch jobs. It’s almost becoming comical how many people in Port Charles are suddenly ditching their old career goals for brand-new ones.
However, Dante is starting to realize he can’t properly uphold the law if he’s always going easy on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)
It’s understandable that Dante wouldn’t want to play a role in sending his dad to prison, but he also doesn’t want to be a cop who looks the other way.
After Dante opens up to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) a bit more, it looks like she’ll admit she’d be glad if he left the police force.
It really shook Sam up when Dante almost lost his life, so she shouldn’t have any qualms about him walking away from the PCPD.
Of course, Dante will need a different career to focus on if he indeed decides to turn in his badge and move on.
Could Dante and Sam end up becoming a private investigating duo?
Sam and Dante already make a great team when it comes to their healthy relationship and the blended family they’ve created.
We have no doubt that Dante and Sam would make an excellent PI team as well, so maybe that’s the direction GH writers will have in mind for Dante moving forward.
This path would still allow Dante to put his detective skills to good use, but he wouldn’t have to worry about the whole Sonny issue.
In fact, Dante could run some investigations with the intention of helping Sonny and not have to feel guilty about any broken laws along the way.
It’s easy to imagine Sam and Dante getting some fun storylines out of this.
Dante and Sam could mix business with pleasure if they become a PI duo, so that could make their bond even stronger.
Regardless, it seems like Dante’s almost ready to resign from the PCPD, so our predictions point to a new career opportunity and some fresh material for the character.
General Hospital spoilers say Dante may have some surprising news for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) soon, so stay tuned to see if he’ll give her updates on his resignation.
