In an IG Stories post, Jason Duggar shared a lengthy message explaining his sudden absence with Maddie Grace online. According to the Counting On alum, many fans may have noticed they’ve been MIA and some of their YouTube videos were delayed. He then revealed that their life has been “moving at a crazy pace” lately.
Jason added that they’ve been working non-stop and also dealt with a heartbreaking loss that brought them back to Tennessee for several days. Jason didn’t fully explain who passed away, but it seems to be someone from Maddie’s side. He continued, “We’re starting to catch up and we are excited to start sharing more with you guys soon!”
Maddie also took to social media to share Jason Duggar’s efforts following a sad loss. According to Maddie, Jason came home the other day with flowers to cheer her up.
She added that the flowers symbolize the colors of her hometown, which makes her even happier. Fans also commended Jason for being a thoughtful husband to his wife, who’s been dealing with homesickness.
