Ever since Josh Duggar went to prison for his 12-year sentence, Anna Duggar has disappeared from the public eye. However, this past week, someone saw her out and about and snapped some photos before sharing them online. In the pictures, Anna looks very solemn as she makes her rounds.
Here is a look at Anna’s rare public appearance and her current activities as she waits for her husband’s eventual prison release.
Anna Duggar Makes Rare Appearance In Public
Someone snapped a photo of Anna Duggar as she was out and seemingly running some errands in Arkansas. This is rare because almost no one has seen Anna since Josh was imprisoned. He is currently serving his 151-month prison sentence in Texas. Meanwhile, Anna still lives in Jim and Michell’s Tontitown, Arkansas compound.
These new photos show Anna out in Arkansas on December 10, 2024 (via The U.S. Sun). It is the first time she has been seen out in years. She wore a beige and brown sweater while at a community event. She also had on a pair of blue jeans.
This is interesting since Jim Bob and Michelle disapprove of women wearing jeans and prefer only long dresses or skirts. Most fans did not believe it was Anna since her appearance had changed so drastically. Some attribute it to depression after everything she has been through and now raising 7 kids alone.
She was seen walking with one of her children, although the child was not pictured in the photos. It is unclear what she was doing, but the site confirmed that it was Anna Duggar, and she still lives on the Duggar family compound.
Anna has been busy raising her and Josh’s seven children alone while he is in prison. They have Mackynzie, 15, Michael, 13, Marcus, 11, Meredith, 9, Mason, 7, Maryella, 5, and Madyson, 3. She lives in a warehouse on the compound and home-schools the seven kids. The kids also participate in local youth sports.
Anna Duggar Opens New Business
Anna Duggar has tried to get a new business started. It seems like she is trying to find a way to make money without her in-law’s help with the company, which is a dog-breeding business
In May 2024, Anna filed a business license for Golden Grove Pups, LLC. According to her social media pages, Anna breeds golden retrievers. In October, she posted a picture of the puppies playing together, captioning it: “These pups know how to make the most of their day, especially when there’s a good ol’ rope to wrestle with! Tugging, rolling, and playful barks all around! It’s impossible not to smile watching them enjoy every second.”
From the look of the photos, the company is located inside the warehouse where she lives with her kids.
