Comings and Goings: The Latest Cast Changes As Of June 16

Jon Lindstrom (Joey Armstrong): Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) plays a high-stakes game with Joey.

Kenjah McNeil (Madison Montgomery): Madison and Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) take a big step in their relationship.

Jasmine Burke (June): Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) vows to help June recover her most cherished possession.

 

Jason Vendryes (Stranger): The BTG character appears to have an agenda, following Martin (Brandon Claybon) around. Look for Martin and he to clash this week.

Bold and Beautiful

Sydney Bullock (Ms. Dylan): The actress previously played Stacey on Stranger Things, Young Kirby on Dynasty and Jennifer in the Prime Video film Trust In Love.

 

Brian David Garlick (Hayes Finnegan): Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) son faces danger from his half sister Luna (Lisa Yamada) this week.

Jack Wagner (Nick Marone): While the news broke a couple of months ago that Wagner would be returning to B&B, this is the week Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) half brother started airing. Wagner originated the role of Nick back in 2003 and exited in 2012. He gave Digest a juicy preview of his comeback — check it out here. Maggie Carney (Rita Lesley): EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) assistant will be having scenes with Tony (Thaao Penghlis).

Thaao Penghlis (Tony DiMera): The actor posted to his official X (formerly Twitter) account, “Just got word Tony DiMera does not return to DOOL till Friday June 20th. It’s an interesting story with players I have not dealt with before. But what a game of chess we play Who could possibly be the victor? #Days #Peacock”

 

Lesley Robins (Nurse Lesley): The Young Hollywood correspondent has a cameo on the show. She recently appeared on GH.

Finn Carr (Rocco Falconeri): Rocco has some choice words for Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) this week.

 

Bryce Durfee (Vaughn): Joss’s (Eden McCoy) WSB handler is back on the scene this week.

Daniel Goddard (Henry Dalton): The shifty professor notches more air time this week.

 

Michael E. Knight (Martin Grey): Laura’s (Genie Francis) brother, who returned to town last week will clash with Tracy (Jane Elliot) this week.

Steve O’Connor (Dr. Mohinder): O’Connor returns in the role of the surgeon who performed Kai’s (Jens Austin Astrup) operation last month.

 

Erika Slezak (TBA): It was announced last week that the multiple Daytime Emmy-winning actress, who played Victoria Lord (et al) on One Life to Live from 1971 until the show’s final episode on ABC in 2012, and again for the short-lived online version in 2013, has signed a short-term contract with GH. She will begin airing this fall in an undisclosed role. Her former OLTL son Chris McKenna (ex-Joey Buchanan), who currently plays Jack Brennan, celebrated the casting coup on his X (formerly Twitter) account, “I’m over the moon❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭.”

Viron Weaver (Wiley Corinthos): Wiley will share scenes with his dad, Michael (Rory Gibson), who as of last week has sole custody of him.

 

Michael Damian (Danny Romalotti): The rock star will share scenes with his son, Daniel (Michael Graziadei), this week.

Cait Fairbanks (Tessa Porter): Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and her wife will interact this week on Young and Restless. Will Tessa finally get Mariah to open up about what has been bothering her and making her close herself off?

 

Billy Flynn (TBA): While the casting announcement was made months ago, this is the week Flynn makes his debut in his mysterious new role. He will continue to air on DAYS as Chad for many months to come. As luck would have it, this is also the week that Aristotle Dumas reveals himself, but who is the mystery man really?

Vincent Stalba (Carter): Aristotle Dumas’s assistant will be on hand to greet his boss’s guests when they arrive at his home in France.

 

Who’s Going

Days of Our Lives

Kristian Alfonso (Hope Williams Brady): Hope was there to see the love of her life, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell), wake up from his coma and also celebrate the life of John Black. This week, Hope’s visit to Salem with Bo will come to an end when both leave town.

Peter Reckell (Bo Brady): After waking up and reconnecting with his beloved family, saying good-bye to his best friend and honorary brother, John, and seeing the rest of his Salem family, Bo and Hope decide to leave town once again.

General Hospital

Colin Cassidy (Aiden Spencer): Aiden hopped on a plane last week, bound for a summer of adventure with his father, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson). Liz’s (Rebecca Herbst) youngest son should be back in the fall.

Jonathan Jackson (Lucky Spencer): The five-time Daytime Emmy winner officially wrapped his latest comeback to the show on June 11 as Lucky left Port Charles.

Real-Life Status

Boy Wonder: Briana Nicole Henry (ex-Jordan Ashford, GH) and husband Kris Bowers, Academy Award-winning composer and filmmaker, have welcomed their second baby into the world — a son — who joins big sister Coda, to make them a family of four. Henry penned a loving message to her husband on Instagram on June 16, saying, “Our kids will always know what it feels like to be held by you. Physically, emotionally, spiritually. And now he gets to feel your love too. Lucky him. Lucky us. Making you a father is one of the surest things I’ve ever done. I love you. Happy Fathers Day @krisbowersmusic” Bowers wrote on his own Instagram about his new album and included the following, “To my wife, @briananicoleee, our daughter Coda, and our newborn son, Telos—thank you for filling my heart with something to say.” It was back in January that Henry debuted her bump at the Golden Globes while walking the red carpet with Bowers. Soap Opera Digest sends its warmest congratulations to the family on their new addition.

In Memoriam

Chris Robinson, who played Rick Webber on GH from 1978-2013, Jason Frame on Another World from 1988-89 and Jack Hamilton on B&B from 1992-2005, passed away at the age of 86. Genie Francis (Laura), whose on-screen mother Lesley (Denise Alexander) was married to his character for years, wrote on her official X (formerly Twitter) account, “I am so sad, he will be missed @GeneralHospital.” Kin Shriner (Scott) also shared his thoughts on X, writing, “Sorry to hear about Chris Robinson passing, we had such fun @GeneralHospital, he would love to find ways to get u to goof up your lines, I enjoyed our time there !!”

Pamela Peters Solow, who originated the role of Peggy Brooks on Y&R in 1973, passed away on June 4 at the age of 75. Her friend Todd Hirsh posted the news on Facebook. “Ugh…so gutted…😢,” he began his tribute. “Received news last night that my friend Pam Levy (one of the COOLEST damn ladies I have ever had the good fortune to know) has passed…🕊️💐” He added, “I met Pam and her husband Marty in 2017 when I moved my office next to theirs in North Hollywood. The friendship with the two of them was INSTANT. Besides their business, they both were actors : Pam was the original ‘Peggy Brooks’ character on the soap #TheYoungandtheRestless in the 1970’s, and she was in LOTS of commercials and basically every cool #70s tv show, like #HappyDays, #ThePartridgeFamily , #Emergency , and #ButchCassidy. And Marty has been in all sorts of things in his own right, from #BackToTheFutureII to #LALaw to #AllyMcBeal to #ER. 🎭” In addition to her role on Y&R, the actress appeared on The Man from Atlantis, with future Dallas and B&B star, Patrick Duffy, as well as many other guest appearances.

Harris Yulin, who played Michael Christopher, Steve’s (Frank Runyeon) father on As the World Turns, passed away from cardiac arrest on June 10 at the age of 87. The actor had a long and prolific career both on stage and on screen. Yulin appeared in over 100 roles, including in films like ScarfaceClear and Present Danger and Ghostbusters II. On TV, he was known for a regular role opposite Justin Deas (ex-Buzz Cooper, Guiding Light, et al.) on Studio 5B, recurring roles on OzarkDivorceBillions and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and many others. In 1996, he was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his work on Frasier. He was also on Broadway, appearing in Hedda Gabler, The Price, The Diary of Anne Frank (with Natalie PortmanLinda Lavin and former GL star Rachel Miner, ex-Michelle Bauer). Yulin is survived by wife Kristen Lowman and was predeceased by his daughter, actress Claire Lucido.

To The Rescue

Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea, Y&R) is hosting a charity event at the Burbank Marriott on Friday, August 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Burbank, CA to benefit disabled dogs from Dharma Rescue, a non profit 501 c3 organization that is dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs, providing the animals with shelter, spaying/neutering, medical care and rehabilitation. Egan has worked with the organization for many years. There will be autographs, photos, raffles, and more with special guests from Y&R and other daytime shows. Diamond White (ex-Paris Buckingham, B&B) is reprising her role as Tiffany in Tyler Perry’s new film, Madea’s Destination Wedding, which will premiere on July 11. She first played the role in the mega-hit producer’s Boo! A Madea Halloween and Boo 2! A Madea Halloween…. Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie Reed, DAYS) is joining the cast of The Traitors for season 4.
