Christine Brown Shares Coping With Garrison’s Death
Along with Janelle Brown, her sister wife, Christine Brown was the main caretaker of their combined twelve children. While Janelle worked from morning until night, Christine was the happy little homemaker. As their children grew up, they always recognized how much she had done for them. Even after she left Kody Brown and the plural family began to fall apart, Janelle, Christine, and their kids remained one unit. Everyone was shocked and devastated when Janelle’s son, Garrison Brown, took his own life. He was just twenty-five and the best spirit.
It took Christine a few days to post a tribute but when she did, it was clear she was broken. She continued to share rare photos and happy memories. Now, she has posted a video on Instagram explaining how she is coping in the midst of her grief. She explained that being on social media and connecting with followers has helped her immensely. Working has been vital to her mental health because continuing to move forward is just what she knows. Additionally, hearing from others, and feeling the love, has been amazing for her, as well.
Christine Brown noted that she will miss Garrison every single day and it is awful to lose a son. However, she does know that there is no other choice than to keep going forward. If she did not do that, she would never leave her bed so she has to do what is familiar. She left her followers with a reminder to reach out to those you love. In the end, she just reiterated how grateful she was for everyone’s support.
Can They Go On?
The big question is can Sister Wives go on? Season 19 has been filmed but if Garrison Brown is a part of it, it might be too morbid for fans to handle. More so, it might feel exploitative but there is no telling what the future holds right now. Christine Brown is not the only one who thanked everyone who sent in support. Janelle Brown’s eldest daughter, Maddie Brown Brush shared a video saying how many people reached out and how much that meant to her. There were a lot of stories about suicide so it is a relatable topic. Her goal is to raise awareness about mental health after what happened.
