SISTER Wives’ Christine Brown has made a joke about her past relationship in a hilarious new post.
The TLC star shared a mocking image on her Instagram Stories on Thursday.
In the post, Christine, 51, shared a fake movie poster inspired by The First Wives Club – targeting her ex-husband Kody Brown, 54.
The original 1996 comedy starred Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn, and Diane Keaton.
In Christine’s image, however, the actresses’ first names had been replaced by her and her TLC co-stars Janelle Brown, 54, and Meri Brown, 52.
Christine and her fellow sister wives also had their faces superimposed over the poster.
Hilariously, the pic had also been edited to say “The Ex-Wives Club,” rather than “first wives.”
On top of her social media post, Christine wrote: “Oh my gosh!! I laughed my head off when I saw this!!”
Christine was the first of the wives to leave the family, announcing her split from Kody in November 2021 following 27 years of a spiritual marriage.
She is now married to David Woolley.
Meanwhile, Janelle and Kody called it quits in December of 2022 after 30 years together.
The family patriarch also split from his first wife Meri, remaining just with his youngest and allegedly “favorite” wife, Robyn.
NACHO PROBLEM
This isn’t the first time Christine has called out Kody on social media.
Eagle-eyed fans have noticed messages to her ex in shots of her eating nachos.
Kody previously made disparaging remarks about Christine’s weight when she ate nachos in front of him.
In a memorable moment in Sister Wives history, Kody discussed Christine eating nachos in his memoir and revealed that he second-guessed his romantic interest in her after noticing her appetite.
In the memoir, Kody said he thought Christine was cute even though she was a “little chubby.”
He said: “Christine went into the Quickie Mart and bought herself what seemed like the largest portion of chili cheese nachos that I’d ever seen.
“…the sight of this chubby girl in my car devouring chili cheese nachos for breakfast put the brakes on our relationship.”
FAIRYTALE ROMANCE
Christine and David tied the knot on October 7 in a fairytale ceremony at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah.
Most of Christine’s blended family attended except her ex-husband, Kody, his wife Robyn, and their kids.
Her former sister wife, Meri, and daughter Gwendlyn, 21, also didn’t show up for the star’s big day.
However, Christine and Kody’s five other children, her former sister wife and BFF Janelle, and other members of their family were by her side.
An insider told The U.S. Sun that Christine’s wedding was an all-day outdoor affair, with the setup beginning in the early morning and guests arriving in the early afternoon.
The couple exchanged vows on a wooden stage where all their friends and family witnessed the unforgettable moment.
Described as “a scene out of a Western dream,” according to Red Cliffs Lodge’s website, the outdoor space is surrounded by views of the majestic, 2,000-foot red cliffs and Colorado River.
The wedding was filmed by TLC cameras, a source previously confirmed to The U.S. Sun, potentially for Sister Wives, or maybe even for a potential spinoff show.
