Christine Brown Gave Temporary Guardianship To Robyn?
Christine Brown was accused by Kody Brown of not trying to make a go of things with Robyn Brown, but isn’t giving guardianship of your kids to someone a massive gesture? Does Kody have a very selective memory when it comes to Christine? Read on to find out what TLC fans are saying.
Christine Brown Left & Robyn Was All Alone
Kody Brown ended up knifed by so many wives right in the kidneys in Season 17, it became e national joke. And in season 18, there are more sharp things thrust his way. None more appreciated than Janelle Brown telling him to “shut the F Up!” Poor Robyn ended up weeping because Meri left. Meanwhile, Christine had already gone, and Janelle took her RV and drove out of their lives. Nobody, it seems loves Robyn so she was left free to weep to an audience of one.
Christine Brown ended up being blamed by Kody for not making any effort to be nice to his only legal wife. Of course, Sister Wives fans already saw that Janelle also took the blame for that. It’s as if Kody blames everyone but the one with the problem for all the problems in lonely Robyn’s little life. Actually, he seemed to think that jealousy over his affections made the other women feel nasty. Incredibly, he might be a little bit right about that. But Christine did actually make an effort.
Christine Brown Never Tried To Bond With Robyn?
On the weekend, u/Low-Parsley-2601 from Reddit rewatched old seasons of the TLC show. They started to wonder about Kody’s claim that Christine never made any effort to bond with Robyn. Checking back on Season 12’s Episode 7, the Redditor discovered something when the family went off to Utah to take part in the polygamy protest. They noted, “Christine gave temporary guardianship to Robyn if she was arrested.” Furthermore, she gave “power of attorney to Robyn as well.” Mind you, it certainly wasn’t reciprocated and Christine couldn’t even watch Robyn’s kids
Those fans who reacted in the comments mostly agreed that in fact, Christine Brown made plenty of effort to try and engage with Robyn over the years. Actually, as far as they could see, so did Meri and Janelle. However, when it comes to Kody, he tends to try and “project” things onto everyone else when really the problem lies with his favorite wife.
Handing Over Guardiuanship Was A Big Deal – If Unnecessary
Christine Brown stood no chance of facing an actual arrest. In fact, many fans felt that TLC hyped it up for the ratings. However, the fact that Christine tried meeting Robyn more than halfway could not be denied. Mind you, Kody would deny ice in winter during a climate catastrophe before admitting Robyn’s imperfection.
One participant in the discussion pointed out, “This is what makes [Kody Brown] such a narcissist. He would watch that old footage and still completely deny he acted that way.”
What do you think about the Sister Wives patriarch dissing Christine? And despite overwhelming evidence that she did make an effort with Robyn. Sound off in the comments below.
‘Sister Wives’ Will There Be Season 19 Post-Divorce Drama?
Will there be a Season 19 of Sister Wives amid all of the post-divorce drama? Season 18 will see Kody Brown lose two more wives. This comes on the heels of his former third wife, Christine Brown leaving the plural family in early 2021. So, what will happen now that it will ultimately just be him and his fourth wife, Robyn? Read on for more details.
Sister Wives Will There Be Season 19 Post-Divorce Drama?
After Christine Brown exited the plural family in Season 17 of Sister Wives, it looked like the family was going to continue to struggle. They were already suffering and had been for some time, especially with communication. However, Christine’s exit shattered so much of what the Browns prided themselves on. They wanted the public to see them as a functional polygamist unit but they were anything but. Robyn and Meri felt especially betrayed but they tried to make a pact to hold on and rebuild. That clearly did not happen as Meri and Janelle shared they had left by the time the tell-all was filmed.
Now that Season 18 is getting ready to premiere, Sister Wives previews have dropped. It is clear that this is a severely dysfunctional situation. That being said, after the upcoming season ends, will TLC even want to film the post-divorce drama? According to Reality Tea, that is all up in the air. At this point, Kody does not want to add any more wives to his life. This will be hard for Robyn to take as she only wants to live polygamy. Therefore, the most interesting people to film would be the wives who left and how they are going on with their lives after Kody.
So, will TLC do a Sister Wives spin-off which is what fans appear to want? Chris Poole from TLC had this to say: “Of course, I would love to do spinoffs, and I think people would love to see what happens to each of them. But fortunately, we’re in a place right now where we’re covering that on Sister Wives; nobody’s disappearing from the show.”
Keep On Going?
From what Chris Poole said, it looks like Sister Wives will keep going until they have exhausted everything and anything. Though spin-offs would be a lot of fun, there may just be specials. One that could happen, if fans are lucky, is one revolving around Christine and David Woolley’s wedding. As for now, it is all about plural family dysfunction. If the ratings stay up, that will most likely give fans a Season 19.
Do you think that the show should stop after this season and reconsider their options? Let us know and watch Sister Wives August 20th on TLC.
