Carly Steals Sonny’s Pills for Lab Test – Suspects Ava’s Placebo Replacement?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) recently found some common ground with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who voiced concerns about Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) influence on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Carly certainly isn’t a big Nina fan and doesn’t agree with her most of the time, but she’s on the same page about Ava being a toxic presence in Sonny’s life.
Now that even Nina has turned against Ava, it’s going to put Carly on high alert.
Although Carly had a huge fight with Sonny not too long ago and resolved to stay on her own path, she may have to go against that soon.
Carly could find herself pulled further into Sonny’s orbit as his behavior becomes increasingly unhinged.
After all, Carly can’t just sit back and watch that happen to Donna Corinthos’ (Scarlett Spears) father.
There may be growing concerns about the effect Sonny’s actions will have on Donna, so Carly may have to do something as a worried mom.
During the week of April 29-May 3, GH spoilers say Carly will have a major realization involving Sonny.
There’ll be a moment where Carly apparently has an epiphany of some sort, so what will that entail?
It’d be interesting if Carly realized there’s no way Sonny’s receiving the proper medication when he’s acting like this.
Carly may determine that if Sonny is truly taking his pills like he claims to be taking them, then something has to be seriously wrong.
Considering everything that went down with Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) and his own tampered meds, Carly would have good reasons to suspect Ava had a hand in Sonny’s altered prescription, too.
It’d be easy for Carly to ask if she can use Sonny’s bathroom while she’s dropping off Donna one day.
What if Carly finds some opportunity to sneak a couple of pills out of Sonny’s bottle and have them tested – just like Ava did?
The difference is that Carly would absolutely tell Sonny the truth and show him the results to prove he’s not getting nearly the right dosage.
Unlike Ava, Carly wouldn’t sit on a shocker like that.
In fact, Carly might point the finger at Ava for replacing Sonny’s pills and making sure they were mostly placebos.
Sonny’s meds are only at about a quarter of the strength they’re supposed to be, so Carly may suspect this is all part of Ava’s scheme.
If Carly accuses Ava, she’ll put her in a tight spot.
Ava could try to prove her innocence by insisting she was also suspicious and offering evidence of the lab analysis, but then she’d have to explain why she stayed silent.
Regardless, Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) decision to mess with Sonny’s meds could cause even more drama soon, so stick with us for predictions on all the chaos.
General Hospital spoilers say Ava may be digging quite a hole for herself, so stay tuned for updates on any bad news that may be brewing.
