As he shared in the caption, “We are safe. But this is what’s left of our beautiful home.”

“Our home where our kids were raised and where they wanted to raise their own someday. Thanks to all who reached out and checked in. Can’t respond to all so wanted to give an update here.”

I’ve lost my home and everything that I own … Every few minutes, we’re thinking about things that were in there that are irreplaceable.” The clip was also shared by Good Morning America‘s official Instagram account.

The Soap Opera Star Warned Fans About GoFundMe Pages Using His Videos Or Photos

Mathison opened up the caption, writing, “Thank you for all the love and support to our family and the 1,000s of people affected…by these fires.” He then asked fans not to donate to any GoFundMe pages using his videos or photos.

The actor continued, “It is not us. We are not asking for money. Unimaginable that someone is using this disaster to rip people off.”

In the accompanying video, Mathison shared similar concerns, “Thank you so much everybody for the love and support, that you’ve shown us and others right now. Please do not donate to a GoFundMe page using my images, my face, my name.”

“We are not asking for money. Somebody is using the images and the videos that I posted to try to get money for themself. It is not us. I appreciate your support, but be careful who you donate to out there. Okay? Thank you so much everybody.”

As noted by Michael Fairman TV, it was noted that at least 10 people have lost their lives to the fires. As the publication noted, “Tens of thousands of people have lost their homes, businesses and more.”
