General Hospital predictions wonder if Jason Morgan will take Sonny Corinthos‘ place as the mob kingpin of Port Charles if he does hard time in prison on the ABC soap opera.
Sonny Corinthos out of Commission on General Hospital?
Currently, on GH, Sonny Corinthos is on a downward spiral and headed toward a breakdown. His inner circle is falling apart and he’s kicking almost everyone out of his life. On top of that, the people who were once in his corner want to see him brought to justice.
His long-time friends refuse to keep turning a blind eye and want him to be held accountable for his actions. But, if Sonny goes down that leaves his family and friends vulnerable to his enemies on General Hospital.
He wants nothing to do with his former best friend Jason Morgan. However, Jason may need to step in whether he and Sonny like it or not. If so, he will have an even bigger target on his back as people from all angles try to take him out.
Jason Morgan Out of Mob Biz on GH
Since Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return, it’s been clear that he’s no longer in the mob business. Until his cover was blown, he was an FBI informant and was a mole inside Pikeman Security going by the name of Alan Jacobs.
Now that that’s over, FBI Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) is using him as bait to take Pikeman down. So, Jason is living his life waiting for them to strike on General Hospital.
Meanwhile, he’s reclaimed his half of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) legitimate business, Corinthos Coffee. He doesn’t seem to want any part of the mob lifestyle. Plus it wouldn’t be wise for Jason to be a mob boss while working for Agent Cates.
However, he may not get much choice if Sonny’s put away and can’t protect the people they have in common. Jason won’t be able to sit idly by while Sonny’s entire family is at risk from power-hungry mobsters.
General Hospital Predictions: Stone Cold Forced to Take over Sonny’s Business?
No doubt, it appears that Sonny’s luck has run out and he may face serious charges soon. He might not pay for all of his past crimes, however, he could very well go down for his more recent crimes. He nearly beat Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to death.
And Cyrus’ sister, Mayor Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis), wants him to press charges. Indeed, it seems he’s going to. Also, it’s recently been confirmed that Sonny is behind Jagger’s beating. No doubt, he already suspects it was Sonny on General Hospital. If he can prove it, that’s an assault on a federal agent.
