And as for Janelle Brown, she chose to speak about the explosive fight she and Kody had.
Onscreen, Janelle is typically the quiet wife. She really doesn’t like to make waves or fight with the others, though she admittedly has issues with both Meri and Robyn.
But based on the official trailer and new interviews, Janelle will finally stand up to Kody once and for all. This season, it seems like fans will get to see the argument that ended the marriage.
“It was heartbreaking for me because all of a sudden, the family had this different identity. But I still felt like I should be loyal out of obligation,” Janelle told PEOPLE recently. “If [Christine] hadn’t left, I might’ve stayed.”
She didn’t specifically detail what the big fight was about. Fans will need to tune into Sister Wives Season 18 and see for themselves. But when it was all over, she admits to feeling relieved.
“This burden came off me, and I thought, ‘Wow. Okay, it’s over,’” Janelle admitted.

Although Janelle’s time as one of Kody Brown’s plural wives has come to an end, she doesn’t regret it at all. She has six children and three grandchildren with Kody. Their marriage was never perfect, but Janelle is always a family woman at the end of the day.
“I don’t have any regrets. The experience is what gave us the life that we have now. I would do it all again,” she concluded the interview.
