General Hospital Spoilers: Jason’s Revenge on John – Destroys Budding Romance with Carly?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is feeling stuck right now due to John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam Harrington) leverage over him. John could throw Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in the slammer due to RICO violations and criminal conspiracy, so Jason is doing whatever he can to prevent that.
However, John could make a huge mistake soon enough. It’s easy to see that John is already intrigued by Carly, so that may be the first step toward a romance.
Although Carly and John have been clashing lately, that’s the kind of thing that can stir up some unexpected desires on soaps.
It can be used to create some intense chemistry and inch two characters into sizzling territory.
Of course, we also know Carly will help John after he gets physically attacked by a couple of guys in an alley.
GH’s weekly preview video shows a concerned Carly coming to John’s aid, so this will be a nice way to bond them.
After John’s injured, Carly will gain a whole new perspective and see his vulnerable side.
Likewise, John may start to look at Carly with fresh eyes and see just how caring she can be.
John’s leverage has never really been about Carly anyway; these potential charges against Carly have always been a convenient strategy to control Jason and force him to accept the FBI’s mission.
It may not be long until John finds himself falling hard for Carly – and she may fall hard for him as well. John may develop a romance with Carly that’s destined to end in disaster once Jason gets updates on the flying sparks.
Jason could get his revenge by ruining any chance of happiness John might have with Carly.
By coming clean about John’s influence and how he pushed Jason into this mission using Carly as leverage, Jason could destroy their romance before it ever truly gets off the ground.
That may serve as some small payback for Jason, but his main goal may be protecting Carly from loving a man who threatened to have her thrown in prison!
In other words, Carly and John’s mutual attraction could be what convinces John to tell Carly the whole truth.
It could also be what causes Carly to fly off the handle and turn completely against John in the end.
