General Hospital spoilers find Carly Corinthos Spencer defending Jason Morgan in the new weekly promo, but it may cost her big time. Meanwhile, Jason’s return continues to cause an uproar throughout the town on the ABC soap opera.
General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Corinthos Spencer Risks Everything
GH spoilers for this week show Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) standing by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) no matter what. She refuses to believe that he tried to kill Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and shot his son, Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
And she pleads his case to anyone who will listen. However, most people in Port Charles believe Jason could be guilty. He has been presumed dead on General Hospital for over two years. Nobody knows where he’s been or what happened to him. For all they know he could be a completely different person. But Carly won’t believe that.
This week, Carly defends Jason to Sonny and tells him he owes Jason. But Sonny claps back that he owes him nothing. Indeed, the kingpin is still holding onto resentment from when Jason married Carly, and he no longer trusts his best friend.
Sonny Turns against Jason on GH
The mob boss is having a hard time believing that Jason is still loyal to him on General Hospital. He saw with his own eyes that Jason was on the roof with the sniper who tried to take him out at the warehouse. Furthermore, Sonny knows that whoever is targeting him knows his business inside and out.
So, all signs are pointing to Jason. But, what Sonny doesn’t know is that Jason has spent the last two years keeping Sonny out of prison. FBI agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) wants to put Sonny away and it looks like he has leverage over Jason. So, eventually, Sonny might feel guilty for doubting him.
Family Drama Takes a Toll on Joss – General Hospital
Meanwhile, on GH, Carly’s daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), also faces fallout because of her loyalty to Jason. This week, tensions rise between her and her best friend, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Currently, Trina has been keeping her distance from Joss because of Jason.
She’s upset because Jason is the number one suspect in all of the recent shootings. Most importantly, the one that left her father, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) paralyzed. Joss is unsure if she believes Jason’s guilty. So that’s putting a strain on her friendship with Trina on General Hospital.
And this week, she leans on her brother, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). She tells him it’s looking bad because it’s all over the media that “Stone Cold” is the prime suspect. Later, Jason is bombarded with questions. First, PCPD Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) asks him if he shot Dante.
Then, he comes face-to-face with his ex-wife, who’s also Dante’s girlfriend, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). And she also asks Jason point-blank if he fired the shots at Dante. Then, Jason loses his temper, which is rare for him. Of course, Jason is innocent, but no one will know that for sure until Dante wakes up from his coma.
Later, his arraignment takes place, and tempers run high in the courthouse. It’s one shock after another this week on GH. Don’t miss a minute to see if everyone in Carly Corinthos Spencer’s life turns on her for siding with Jason on the ABC daytime drama.
