Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Breaks Silence on Tragic Loss
Sister Wives star Kody Brown has just broken his silence on his son, Garrison Brown’s alleged suicide. He died on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 just 25 years old. So, what is his father saying on this devastating day? Read on for more details.
Kody Brown Breaks Silence About Garrison’s Alleged Suicide
Sister Wives fans were both shocked and devasted to learn that Garrison Brown had taken his own life. He was such a strong-willed member of the family and very level-headed. More so, he challenged his father, Kody Brown during the pandemic and even after. He was so thrilled when he finally purchased his own home in Arizona in 2021 near his mother, Janelle Brown. His siblings, Gwendlyn and Gabriel were even considering living with him. That did not end up happening but he had his life all settled until today when Gabriel found his brother deceased. Now, Kody’s world has come crashing down around him.
Per Kody Brown’s Instagram, he shared a message from both Janelle and himself:
“Janelle and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. Our loss will leave such a big hole in our lives, that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
Like Janelle, Kody has turned comments off for now but it is clear that they are heartbroken by this news. Together, they had six children, Madison, Garrison, Gabriel, Savanah, Hunter, and Logan. The last big event that Janelle and the children were at was Christine Brown and David Woolley’s wedding. Kody was not invited to the event but it was a momentous occasion and everyone had an amazing time. Now, the family will be forced to come back together but for all of the wrong reasons.
A Rough Time
Growing up, Sister Wives fans saw how close Kody Brown was with his children and how much they had a mutual adoration for one another. Unfortunately, the pandemic put a major crutch in Kody’s relationships with his wives and his children. He wanted Janelle Brown to evict both Gabriel and Garrison Brown but she refused.
For Janelle, her children were far more important than her husband and she stood by that to the bitter end. Kody and his boys remained strained so this is even harder. Hopefully, they came to some common ground.
Thoughts and love go out to the entire Brown family during this devastating time. More news as it becomes available.
