Meri has a long list of issues with her Sister Wives, which makes the viewers wonder if she would consider returning to the show for another edition or not. Will Meri be a part of Season 19? What is she up to?
Is Meri Leaving The Show Because Of Her Sister Wives?
Meri Brown never had a great bond with her Sister Wives. She has always been regarded as the lone wolf because she wasn’t able to get along the way others did. Amid all this, Meri was giving her best to save her marriage and was doing everything under the sun to win back Kody.
But even after all the efforts, Kody made it clear that he was no longer in love with Meri and ended up disowning him on national television. Hence, the latter has finally accepted herself as a “single woman” who doesn’t have any Sister Wives.
Meri even talked about her friendship with Robyn and made it clear that she wasn’t “100% emotionally there.” She explained that she was still trying to “navigate” her bond with the latter because it was “different.”
On the other hand, Meri talked about Janelle, Christine, and Robyn and stated, “They don’t have my back.” She further clarified, “Oh, by the way, I don’t have Sister Wives, just FYI.” This made it clear that Meri was no longer interested in the dynamics.
Moreover, Meri’s only child, Leon, is also in their own world. So, she doesn’t have to be civil with Kody or her Sister Wives for the sake of her kid as well. That is the reason why viewers feel that Meri would perhaps consider quitting the show now.
But there is a fair chance that she would make some guest appearances on her family show just for the sake of continuing with the legacy.
Sister Wives: Will There Be A Season 19?
If we look at the bigger picture, the first question that comes into our minds is whether there will be a Season 19 of Sister Wives or not. Apparently, the basic storyline of Kody and his polygamous lifestyle has already been jeopardized. He is struggling to live his life as a monogamous married man.
On the flip side, Christine’s wedding and David Woolley’s debut also became part of Season 18. So, this gave rise to a huge question mark when it comes to the future of the show. But it seems that the Browns aren’t ready to give up on their family franchise.
Christine and Janelle recently opened up about the future prospects of Sister Wives. The former stated, “We’re just going to do it exactly like we would do it in real life.” She added that during the “next season,” there would be instances when the family would be under the same roof for the sake of their kids.
Christine made it clear, “We’re gonna be cordial because it’s about our kids. ” So, if all other women who aren’t a part of the polygamous family are looking forward to continuing with the franchise, there is a fair chance that Meri would also do the same.
Hence, it would be interesting to watch how much contribution Meri is willing to make to her family show now.
