Sister Wives: Why Paedon Brown Is Finally Speaking Out

Sister Wives star Paedon Brown, Christine and Kody’s only son, finally speaks out, revealing problematic relationships he’s had with family members.

On Sister Wives, Paedon Brown, who is Christine and Kody Brown’s 23-year-old son, is finally speaking out about his experiences as a member of a famous polygamous family. As the seventh child out of 18, he’s been around a while and has witnessed more drama among his family members than the younger kids. He hasn’t garnered as much screen time as the others, but he has been a bit more outspoken recently.

When the Brown family relocated to Flagstaff, Arizona, Paedon joined the National Guard in Utah, instead. This is where the Brown family lived until 2011. Although many members of his family have been in turmoil lately due to his mother, Christine, obtaining a spiritual divorce from Kody, Paedon has been somewhat removed from the turbulence permeating the Sister Wives gang.

How Does Paedon Brown Feel About His Family?

Paedon has always maintained a close relationship with his mother Christine but only admitted that he has strained relationships with some of his siblings and his father’s legal wife, Robyn Brown. Sister Wives fan, Marcys2Cents, retweeted Paedon’s jab at the mother of five, where he wore a T-shirt with “What. Does. The. Nanny. Do?” printed on it. This seemed to refer to how Robyn was the only wife with a nanny. However, even though Robyn and the nanny claimed to follow Kody’s strict COVID-19 rules, the nanny confessed to testing positive for the virus and exposing them.

Paedon Brown Is Harsh With Robyn Brown

Paedon from Sister Wives also confessed to being rude to Robyn’s kids, saying that he was acting out because Kody was favoring Robyn and doing things with their kids and not with him. He has also been more vocal lately about how he hit his sister Gwendlyn Brown a few years ago. According to The Sun, Paedon has feuded with his other sibling Leon Brown, as well as his sister Mykelti Brown, who fired him while they were working together.

Some fans wonder why Paedon, who is similar to Kody, was on the quiet side throughout his Sister Wives journey but is now suddenly speaking out about his experiences, many of which are unpleasant or show him in a negative light. It’s probably no coincidence that, now that Christine is no longer part of the Sister Wives Flagstaff-based storyline as she left Kody and moved back to Utah in a dramatic and emotional breakup, Sister Wives star Paedon feels freer when it comes to speaking his truth. While appearing on the show, the stars are not allowed to disclose certain information. However, TLC has not divulged whether that currently includes Paedon and if what he is disclosing is even considered a secret since it doesn’t reveal spoilers, only dirty laundry.

It could be that the Sister Wives military boy is just maturing and feels that it is time to come clean about some things he’s been holding inside. Kody, who Paedon dropped some bombshells about, has taken some flak for the way he’s handled the family recently, and perhaps Paedon feels like it’s time to step up and be the man he thinks Kody is not. Paedon does seem remorseful about some of his past actions, claiming he regrets hitting Gwendlyn. Now, he seems focused on finding a loving relationship, and fans are eagerly awaiting Paedon’s next move.
