Nelle’s Shocking Return And The Dark Sasha Gaslight Plot Unfolds
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) could be behind the gaslighting plot surrounding Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). Someone is sneaking into the Quartermaine mansion and into Daisy Gilmore-Corinthos’ (Levi Clark Coughlin) room!
Evil Twin-Gaslight Plot?
Could it be that Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) evil twin Nelle is involved since she’s been presumed dead for some time- fans never saw her body, and there was no funeral.
Therefore, we will explore the possibility that it might be Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) other daughter, why she would interfere with Daisy and Sasha, and how things could change. It appears that Nelle is the one in question, but perhaps that’s not the case.
What we do know for sure is that someone is playing games with Sasha and using her newborn baby Daisy-first, Sasha received the wrong baby at GH, which caused her to panic.
She instantly recognized that the baby wasn’t hers; fortunately, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) found Daisy just moments later and brought the correct baby to her; nonetheless, it was a frightening experience.
Sasha Checked On Daisy And Her Clothes Were Changed
Recently, Sasha placed Daisy in her crib the first time something strange happened-she went up to check on her, and someone had turned on her musical mobile.
The second time she did this, she went downstairs to have a conversation with a few people.
Upon returning to check on Daisy, she noticed that the baby was turned the completely opposite way and was dressed in a different colored little onesie.
Clearly, someone must have changed her. Sasha inquired with everyone who could have gone in to tend to Daisy, but no one confessed to doing it.
Fans Speculate Nelle’s Return
There has been quite a bit of speculation among fans about the possibility of Nina’s presumed deceased daughter, Nelle, making a return. Currently, Willow is facing a tough situation, and Nelle has been thought to be dead for five years now.
She fell off a cliff during a confrontation with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), landing near a river far below. The same river where Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) could have ended up.
Anyway, about a month after her fall, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) received a call from someone claiming they had discovered Nelle’s body.
However, we never actually saw it, even though Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) identified it and then went off for a stiff drink.
Nelle Wasn’t Dead?
You see, Willow Tait’s twin sister (Katelyn MacMullen) never received a funeral-however, there is a gravestone for her in the Port Charles cemetery that Nina visits from time to time.
Ultimately, death seldom prevents any character from making a comeback on soap operas-so, yes, it’s entirely possible for GH to resurrect Nelle. The ABC soap could easily claim she has been alive for the past five years, that she was rescued from the river.
Perhaps she received assistance from some of Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) Dawn of Day followers. They might have discovered another body or, you know, committed murder because they’re unhinged.
Another Body In Nelle’s Place?
And maybe there was another body in her place- if you recall, if you wonder why they would do that, Nelle was married to Shiloh at the time of his death-they met in prison.
And he had upstate New York law enforcement officers among his followers doing dirty deeds for him, so that’s all very feasible.
You know, Nelle might have been recovering and then lurking and hiding and biding her time, waiting for the right moment to strike at the people that she hates.
And with Willow split from Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Sasha giving birth to Michael’s baby, maybe Nelle is back for some long-awaited revenge on General Hospital.
Why Is There No Nanny Cam?
Baby Daisy appears to be in a different room than the playroom-slash-nursery where Drew and Willow were caught by the nanny cam having sex. However, why doesn’t Daisy’s room have a video nanny cam; it does have a sound-only one.
If it had a nanny cam with a video feed, all questions would be answered, and Sasha wouldn’t have to be so worried about a creepy stalker after her baby.
She freaked out to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) in a recent episode when he delivered a gift to Sasha for Daisy. It was a great big elephant that was sent by Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).
Nelle’s Revenge Plot-Why?
So, let’s quickly discuss a few reasons why Nelle might be back to stalking Daisy, gaslighting Sasha, and causing trouble; Nelle could be targeting Sasha simply because she got pregnant by Michael.
Nelle was obsessed with Michael, and they have a child together; she is Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) biological mother-Nelle was supposedly in love with Michael and very possessive of him.
We all know she was quite unstable; therefore, she might feel jealous that Sasha had Michael’s baby.
Additionally, she knows that Sasha will inform Michael about the baby being switched and relocated. This could really upset him, and Nelle might just want to torment both of them.
Nelle Might Be Back To Torment The Corinthos Family
Nelle might return to bother the Corinthos family-Carly didn’t make much effort to assist Nelle when she was hanging off that cliff.
Nelle committed many awful acts against Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and others in the family-and Nelle and Carly truly hated each other, like a next-level animosity.
Nelle would crawl back from the deepest parts of hell just to annoy Carly, that’s how much Nelle loathed her.
And if you recall, at one time Nelle had manipulated her so severely that Carly ended up in Ferncliff receiving shock treatments.
And Daisy is Carly’s granddaughter-so abducting her and causing trouble would torment Carly, Sasha, and Michael; Nelle would definitely do that.
Nelle May Want To Punish Nina’s Fake Daughter
The third point is that Willow’s malevolent twin might be causing trouble for Sasha, as she feigned being the daughter of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
The entire revelation of “Nina being your mother” surfaced after Nelle’s death; however, it has been five years since that event. If Nelle were still alive, the fact that Nina is her biological mother would have likely come to light by now.
She would undoubtedly be enraged that Sasha accepted money from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to deceive her mother Nina, shatter her heart, and impersonate her.
Nelle Might Want To Reclaim Her Son
Nelle knew Willow, and she knew that Willow and Michael married and had her son, once the whole baby swap thing came out in the open; but she didn’t know Willow was her twin. Nelle took drastic measures to keep Wiley away from Michael.
Now that Michael has sole custody, it could be the reason she has emerged from her dark phase to engage in questionable actions-you see, Willow has a strong dislike for Sasha.
Nelle may be back to get Wiley back from Michael, and perhaps Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork-Macko) as well, since Michael is her father.
Therefore, Nelle may be aiming for Sasha’s baby too since she had an affair with Michael while he was still married to her twin, Willow.
Nelle In Cahoots With Sidwell?
If Nelle has been hiding for some time, she might have had a role in the explosion at Sonny’s penthouse since she doesn’t like him either. It would be quite intriguing if Nelle is somehow collaborating with or working for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
They share some common foes; Sidwell has also shown interest in Sasha’s baby, which creates a connection; the concept of Sidwell and Nelle plotting together appealing because they are both quite devious.
It’s possible that Sidwell provided Nelle Benson with the bomb and instructed her, “Set it up and blow up Sonny.” But then she noticed Michael there and thought, “Oh, I’ll kill him instead.”
Psychotic Break-Willow Has Taken On Nelle’s Personality
Years ago, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) took on Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) personality, like a dissociative identity disorder alter when he thought he was dead. Could something similar be happening to Willow, and she’s taken on Nelle’s personality and actions?
You know, after that meltdown in court when she lost custody of her children, all because of Sidwell, Willow might have lost her mind.
Perhaps one part of her brain believes she is Nelle and is out seeking revenge; meanwhile, the other part still thinks she’s Willow.
Honestly, Nelle seems to be a better match for Drew than Willow, who at this stage is suffering from Stockholm syndrome and cult brain syndrome, among other issues.
