Taeda Farms Opening Doesn’t Go As Planned
Janelle Brown is living with her daughter and son-in-law. They are currently trying to get Taeda Farms open.
They have 144 acres of land in North Carolina. However, they are hitting a lot of roadblocks when it comes to the legal side of things. Janelle is trying to get licenses to farm on this much land. However, the government has been holding her license for about nine months, which has made it difficult to get started.
While this is not what they hoped for in the process, they are making the best out of it. Janelle has even given fans an update on the farm.

Well, not much has changed for Janelle and Taeda Farms. They still do not have their license. However, she revealed that they are starting some gardening in their backyard.
They have a fenced-in area where the dogs can’t get into. They also decided not to get chickens for now. However, Janelle did mention that gardening is a nice therapeutic workout.
Got a good bit of planting done in the backyard garden. While we wait for what seems like forever for the government agencies to stop being government agencies and approve our permits (it’s been almost 9 months you guys 🤨😳) this is my gardening outlet. We are holding off on new chickens – um – for now 😂😂😂. And I just came in to wash up and saw the dirt on my nose ! Some people have flour I guess I have dirt 🧑🌾
It seems as though their licenses are still not approved to start farming on their 144 acres of land. However, they are starting some things in their backyard. They are not doing chickens quite yet.
However, that will also be in their future. Fans are excited to see when Taeda Farms is going to open and what they will do with it.
