Chad Duell of General Hospital fame is known for starting a family with Luana Lucci, with the birth of their son in 2023. Recently, Luana has taken to social media to share a surprising update with fans in a lengthy post. Many fans are also sharing their own reactions to the news.
The General Hospital Star Started A Relationship With Luana In 2022
Duell is best known to soap stars from his role playing Michael Corinthos on General Hospital. He took over the rile in 2010 from Drew Garrett. However, this past November, the actor announced he would be departing the role.
In his personal life, Duell had married Taylor Novack in 2012. However, the marriage had been annulled later that year. In 2022, Duell started a relationship with Luana Lucci. The following year saw the birth of their son, Dawson.
Taking to social media, Luana revealed a big change in her life, as well. As she opened up, “This chapter is officially closed.”
Luana was talking about her career as a flight attendant. In the post, she included a photo of herself in uniform amid the seats of a plane.
Luana also shared, “For years, being a flight attendant felt like my dream job. I was proud to wear the uniform. I wanted to believe it would get better — that the sacrifice was worth it. But somewhere along the way, the dream started to drain me.”
“Constant exhaustion. Unpredictable schedules. Being gone for days. Missing my son while I helped take care of strangers 35,000 feet in the air. Getting paid less than what’s livable while pushing through 15-hour duty days. And being told, ‘Just wait it out.’ But how long are we supposed to wait? 10 years? 40?”
Luana Shared That The Change Means She’s Finally ‘Free’
“I’ve outgrown the version of myself who believed this was the only way to live a meaningful life. I’m ready for peace. For presence. For purpose. I’m ready to build something I don’t have to recover from.”
As Luana finished her post, she also concluded, “Walking away wasn’t easy. But it was necessary. And I know I’m not walking away empty-handed. I’m walking away stronger. And finally… free.”
