This year, Mardi Gras falls on March 4. But across the United States and especially in the South, many parties are taking place in the preceding days. The Busby family from OutDaughtered fame hails from Texas, putting them a state away from New Orleans.
Danielle Busby and her friends recently seized the opportunity to celebrate Mardi Gras in style.
It certainly didn’t seem like a family-friendly affair, so the TLC star chose a more daring gown for the occasion.
“Bestie!” Danielle captioned a post from her Instagram stories. In the photo, she and two friends are posing closely together. Danielle sports a darkly colored floor-length fringe dress with spaghetti straps. She wears strands of purple and white beads around her neck, which hang all the way to her navel.
Although the event seemed to be more of a formal affair, Danielle opted for a dress that perfectly accentuated her bosom.
“Mardi Gras here we are! #firsttake #firsttimers #krewedelafamille” Danielle captioned a follow-up Instagram post, featuring a video of herself dancing with her friends.
“They not like us… at Mardi Gras,” she wrote over the video, imitating rapper Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl performance as his iconic song plays over the post.
