Nina Reeves Can’t Find Love
Nina has been in Port Charles for over a decade. Actress Michelle Stafford played the character until 2019. Veteran soap star Cynthia Watros took over the role and showed the character’s softer side. Nina has had multiple romantic partners through the years, but none have lasted very long.
Nina & Sonny Done For Good?
Fans were hopeful that her relationship with Sonny would last, but it was built on lies and eventually crumbled. They met and fell in love in Nixon Falls when Sonny had amnesia and called himself “Mike.” They eventually married in an intimate wedding on Sonny’s island in Puerto Rico.
However, their marriage was ruined when it was revealed that Nina turned Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC. Sonny promptly served his wife with divorce papers.
General Hospital Viewers Hate The Drew/Willow Storyline
Sonny and Nina have both have moved on from the relationship. Nina formed an unexpected connection with Drew, despite sending him to prison for insider trading. They had a secret affair, but Nina later found out that Drew was also sleeping with her daughter, Willow.
The scandalous affair between Drew and Willow was caught on a nanny cam at the Quartermaine mansion. The video caused quite a scandal, especially because Willow was married to Michael Quartermaine at the time. However, now that the secret is out, Willow and Drew are going full speed ahead with their romance.
The majority of General Hospital fans find the Drew and Willow pairing disgusting, especially because of the age difference.
Nina’s Next Love Match Could Rock Port Charles
With Sonny and Drew no longer romantic options, who is left for Nina to hook up with in Port Charles? The blog What To Watch thinks they know the perfect storyline twist for Nina.
Her next romance should be with Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna,) who is currently pursuing Carly. However, the odds are against Carly and Jack lasting long after his attempt to recruit her daughter Josslyn into the WSB.
The romance between Jack Brennan and Carly Corinthos recently hit a snag with viewers after the role was recast. Viewers felt the fire between actors Charles Mesure and Laura Wright. However, Mesure chose to leave the show and former One Life To Live star Chris L. McKenna took over the role of Jack Brennan.
Viewers are still getting used to the recast. But if the chemistry between Jack and Carly is no longer there, maybe the show will pivot and pair him with Nina. Carly would surely go ballistic at Nina dating yet another of her former flames.
