My Big Fat Fabulous Life star Whitney Way Thore would love to find romance. However, a potential suitor was not quite who she expected. In fact, the situation nearly seemed dangerous to her followers.
Whitney Way Thore Had A Strange Run-In With A Hotel Worker
Whitney Way Thore recently returned from a trip to London. Naturally, her fanbase wanted to know if she met anyone interesting overseas.
The reality star did reportedly meet someone — but wasn’t at all fond of the experience.
“On a scale of 1 to The Pickles Weren’t Even Worth It, how disappointing is this? 😩 🥒” the TLC star shared with her Instagram followers.
“This was my last night in London, I was in a super fancy five-star hotel and decided to order room service. I just really wanted some crab linguine. My need for American dill pickles is so serious,” Whitney began the story between bites of pickles.
“When I’m on the phone with the guy this time, I said to him, ‘Can I have like two sides of pickles?’ He kind of laughed and I was like, ‘I have a pickle problem.’ I kind of laughed, he was like, ‘I’ll be up shortly.’
I hang up the phone. He comes in and I immediately see that he has like four or five big juicy pickles. He puts the tray down on my bed, but the guy doesn’t leave. I can tell he wants to make conversation,” she continued.
Apparently the man kept trying to make conversation to the point where the reality star became a bit uncomfortable.
Before long, she realized he had been in her room for 30 minutes. He asked for her phone number, which she obliged.
However, once they began texting, Whitney quickly regretted the decision. She described him as a “14 year old horny idiot” and posted several screenshots of their conversation.
She concluded the story by admitting she didn’t report him to the hotel and wouldn’t reveal his identity. At the end of the night, she was pleased she still had excellent pickles.

Whitney’s Instagram followers had a mixed bag of reactions to the story. Most felt relieved the man didn’t hurt her. However, they agreed she probably should have taken action and reported him.
