[ EXCLUSIVE ] Where Does Janelle From ‘Sister Wives’ Live? Here’s an Update on the TLC Star
Where does Janelle from ‘Sister Lives’ live? As TLC viewers witnessed, Janelle Brown’s living arrangements have been all over the place.
Some major upheavals have rocked the lives of Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and his four wives, Meri, Christine, Janelle, ad Meri. Over the past couple of years, Christine Brown divorced Kody and moved from Flagstaff, Ariz., to Utah in order to be closer to her adult kids. Not too long after that, Janelle Brown announced that she and Kody were separated. And then Meri left Kody, too.
In the midst of all of these changes, people have started to wonder where Janelle is living now that she is no longer with Kody.
It’s a good question, especially because the Browns always seem to be on the move. When Sister Wives premiered, Kody, his three wives, and their many children were living in one house in Lehi, Utah. But the threat of being arrested for polygamy forced them to move to Las Vegas. And years later, when Sin City seemed too sinful, the Browns moved to Flagstaff, Ariz., where Kody had hopes of uniting the family under one roof.
Where does Janelle Brown live now?
Janelle was living in an RV on the Coyote Pass property, although after struggling without water or electricity hookups, she elected to move into a rental home for the winter. In Touch Weekly reports that she was living in a 3,598-square-foot home with five bedrooms and three bathrooms in Flagstaff. However, in Season 18, she appears to be living in a much smaller rental apartment.
However, in real-time (given that Season 18 was filmed in late 2021), Janelle is currently staying in her RV again. Luckily for her, she is not at Coyote Pass. She shared on Instagram that she had decided to stay in the RV at a place with both water and electricity — talk about an upgrade! We assume she may move back into a rental home for the winter, but she hasn’t shared any info on that front yet.
What’s going to happen with Coyote Pass now?
The Browns also still own property in Flagstaff that they’ve dubbed Coyote Pass, but they haven’t built houses on the land for a variety of reasons. It took a while to sell their Las Vegas houses, for example, and their construction plans were also hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic, disagreements about parcels, and Christine’s exit from the family.
Now that Janelle and Meri have left Kody, it’s unclear what will become of Coyote Pass.
Janelle had been champing at the bit to break ground on the property. “When you look at this whole thing, right? C’mon, it’s just amazing,” she said in an Instagram video from Coyote Pass in April 2022. “I’m so excited to get out here this summer and work on it some more.”
In the Oct. 2, 2022, episode of Sister Wives, Janelle was ready to move out of her rental and start building her Coyote Pass place. “I don’t get it — Kody is so always twisted up about this thing,” she said in a confessional. “Like, I don’t have a house! I don’t have a house. I think I can buy an RV — like, a trailer. I can bring it out here for a few months, and we can stay in it, and I’ll pour all my resources into starting the house build.”
