HGTV fans can hardly deny that Christina Haack, Tarek El Moussa, and Heather El Moussa have a bit of an unconventional dynamic. Christina and Tarek get along excellently as they co-parent their two children. On top of that, Heather loves being a stepmother to the kids. They’ve received widespread praise from fans for the set-up, even if it is a bit odd to see on television.

Christina Haack & The El Moussas Inadvertently Paint Themselves As “Sister Wives”
The Flip Off reportedly received remarkable viewership during its first two episodes. But the stars are still doing everything in their power to drum up interest. And that includes putting out more ridiculous videos.
“Watch till the end…👀💀” Tarek El Moussa posted on Instagram. “Tune in to the real chaos on ‘The Flip Off’ TONIGHT @ 8|7c on HGTV & Discovery+ //stream it on Max the next day. 📺👀🛠️ #TheFlipOff”
In the video, the trio went over dramatic headlines about themselves and even addressed a few questions from viewers.
“How do you tell them apart?” Heather reads a fan’s question out loud before turning to Tarek. “Honey, I don’t know, how do you?”
“Oh easy, shoes,” he replies. However, Heather and Christina remind him they wear a lot of the same shoes.
“From behind, you know, he doesn’t know,” Heather tells viewers. “That could be taken a few different ways.”
“I didn’t want to say that because I’m gonna get in trouble,” Tarek joked, causing Christina to groan.
“Now the comments are gonna start again: ‘sister wives,’ ”it’s weird,’” Christina said in exasperation.
Although many viewers love The Flip Off stars’ friendly dynamic, others have expressed concern in social media comments. In fact, many have compared them to the stars of TLC’s Sister Wives.
For those unfamiliar, the early seasons of Sister Wives followed a polygamous man, his four wives, and their combined 18 children. In recent seasons, three of the wives have left the family and gone their separate ways.

Christina Haack and the El Moussas might enjoy poking fun at their odd dynamic, but at the end of the day it’s nothing more than a positive working and co-parenting relationship. In fact, Christina even recently hard launched her new boyfriend, Christopher Larocca.
