Viewers of General Hospital have seen Brook Lynn and Chase go through a lot of trouble having a child. Thanks to this, some fans suspect they could use a donor, with some suggesting who it could be. Others felt that the story should play out in another way.
General Hospital Fans Suspect Brook Lynn & Chase Could Use A Sperm Donor
Fans of General Hospital saw Brook and and Chase get married back in 2024. In recent months, Brooklyn and Chase have been trying to conceive a child together. However, the process hasn’t been an easy one.
Towards the end of last year, the two had trouble trying to conceive. Notably, Brook Lynn had two negative pregnancy tests. Eventually, she and her husband got tested for complications.
It recently came to light that Brook Lynn shouldn’t have trouble conceiving, as she became pregnant as a teenager. Eventually, she carried the child to full term and gave the child up for adoption.
This had led to speculation that Brook Lynn’s child will eventually be revealed on the soap. Many fans already suspect the character of Gio will turn out to be her son. Meanwhile, Chase also recently received some bad news from his doctor: he is unable to have a child of his own.
Taking to Reddit, some fans felt that Brooklyn and Chase could pursue an alternative route to have a child. As they wrote, “So I’m pretty sure that Brooklyn and Chase are going to go the route of getting a sperm donor.”
“I kind of want it to be Finn so Chase is related to the baby. Also I’m pretty sure that Finn is mature enough not to pull a Kristina and try to claim the baby.”
“This would be a good opportunity to bring Finn and Violet back for an episode or two which would be nice. Who do you think should be the sperm donor or do you all think it should be Anonymous?”
Some Fans Would Prefer Adoption, Others Suggested Who Shouldn’t Be The Donor
Many General Hospital fans disliked the idea. Some felt that adoption would be a better alternative than surrogacy. Others felt that the soap already had similar storylines involving surrogacy and didn’t need another.
That said, a few fans also suggested potential donors. Of course, some suggestions were made were tongue firmly in cheek.
Others suggested it would be for the best just to keep the donor anonymous, avoiding any possible drama. There were even a few fans who thought this storyline could even mark the end of Brook Lynn and Chase’s relationship, especially with the story of Brook Lynn’s first child comes to light.
Some fans even suggested who they felt shouldn’t be a donor. These comments included:
