Some 1000-Lb Best Friends Viewers Might Be Souring On Vannessa
When 1000-Lb Best Friends Season 3 began, Vannessa Cross was at odds with Ashely Sutton and Meghan Crumpler. They said they no longer wished to be friends with Vannessa after her dramatic weight loss. And on social media, former costar Tina Arnold has publicly bashed Vannessa, citing they would never be friends.
Onscreen, Meghan and Ashely cited Vannessa’s attitude as the reason behind their rift. They felt she’d become bossy and condescending since losing several hundred pounds.
And although Vannessa was successful with her weight loss endeavors, fans certainly didn’t appreciate her harsh words toward Meghan at the end of the season.
“Why is Vannessa so mean and thinks everyone is jealous of her? To me she isn’t a good friend. She likes to flaunt it [in] their faces and that’s not being a good friend,” one viewer pointed out on Reddit.
Other Viewers Defend Vannessa Cross
In the comments, other Redditors seemed to see where the OP came from. But ultimately, they disagreed. Most pointed out that Vannessa’s background easily explains her insecurities and aggressive attitude, even when it’s unwarranted.
