General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, December 23, reveal that James West (Gary James Fuller) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will remain thrilled now that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) has decided to join the Christmas celebration after all.
However, there’s more fun to come since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has been hyping up a big surprise.
Since Anna hinted to Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) about spending the holidays with family, that may have been a clue about a relative’s imminent arrival.
Based on some behind-the-scenes GH leaks, it looks like Emma Scorpio-Drake (last played by Brooklyn Rae Silzer) is set to make a Christmas comeback.
There have been some rumblings about a possible Emma recast, so we’ll see if she’s still played by Brooklyn Rae Silzer or if someone new steps into the role.
Whatever the case, Emma should bring some extra holiday cheer when she arrives at Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) place and joins the festive gathering there.
Next, let’s talk about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) reaction to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) own surprise at their holiday get-together.
Carly invited Brennan at the last minute, so he just walked in and extended his hand to a glaring Sonny.
It’s clear that Sonny isn’t happy about Brennan’s inclusion in the holiday bash, so will he finally accept the handshake or leave Brennan hanging?
Even if Sonny doesn’t go as far as shaking hands with Brennan, he may decide to avoid causing a scene.
There’s no point in making Christmas any harder than it has to be since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are all having a rough time.
Nevertheless, Sonny can certainly keep giving Brennan dirty looks – and if Brennan dares to get too friendly with Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears), her daddy may nip that right in the bud!
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, it seems she’ll do the impossible and call a truce with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) for Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) sake.
Molly could really use some love and support from her parents right now, so that’s exactly what Ric and Alexis should come together to give her.
