A Sister Wives Viewer Suggests Meri Is Just As Bad As Robyn
Is it possible that Meri Brown is as calculating and manipulative as Robyn? At least one Sister Wives fan seems to think so.
“Unpopular opinion: Meri might be as villainous as y’all make Robyn out to be,” a Redditor shared online. “IN MY OPINION, Meri has a control problem. I know the Meri stans are gonna come for my neck but hear me out PLEASE. I’m on Season 14 Ep.9 where Meri and Robyn get into over what plots of land they get and Meri is absolutely pissing me off.”
The OP went on to share how aggravating they find Meri’s onscreen presence, citing “indecisiveness and stubbornness.”
“When it comes to the land, she actually did say she ‘didn’t know if she wanted to live in the trees’ but as soon they start talking about who MIGHT get what land she freaks out hearing that her choice MIGHT be getting taken off the table,” the OP continued. “Notice, no one even said that this some type of final decision or anything but she treated it like it was. And I know her frustration also definitely stemmed from her feeling like Kody misconstrued her words but at the same time.. notice she is the only one who is so hell-bent on having a particular spot.”
They pointed out Meri’s “indecisiveness” might just be a ploy to get her way and control everything.
Meri Had The Potential To Evolve Into Robyn
In the comments, one Sister Wives viewer had a very intriguing response.
“I think Meri was the OG Robyn,” another Redditor pointed out. “That’s not saying I think Christine and Janelle were innocent flowers. Meri ruled the roost, until Kody got tired of her. Enter Robyn. Meri got mentally knocked on her arse by the cat fish, and has never really recovered. Even arseholes can be funny and have good friends outside of the family. That indecisive bullshit was her way over making everyone wait on her. Robyn is even worse, mind you.”
