He was trying not to sound weird before expressing his wish. Meri’s best friend Jenn asked if he wanted to be the flower girl at her wedding. Kody stated, “No, I get to walk her down the aisle!” Meri wasn’t sure of her ex’s statement and wondered if he just said everything in excitement. She asked if he was trying to joke about it.

The TLC star admitted that they have not been in such a situation for the past eight or nine years. Kody called it hilariously funny but he knew it wasn’t right.
He considers sex as a very sacred thing and believes it isn’t right to joke about it. Moreover, he noted that being in such a situation was so funny, yet so wrong.
