General Hospital Spoilers: Sam Drowns in Diving Accident – Presumed Dead After River Gun Search?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show may have just laid the groundwork for Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) upcoming exit story. Insiders have been predicting Sam’s fatal departure – and now there are good reasons to think it might involve a diving accident.

In GH’s September 18 episode, Sam (who’s temporarily being played by Lindsay Hartley) shared a dangerous plan with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

It’s one that felt awfully ominous under the circumstances.

After Sam brought up the fact that she was an expert diver, she suggested she could search for the gun that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) disposed of.

Dante didn’t like the sound of that since the river is so choppy, but Sam insisted she could handle an undercurrent.

Since Dante knew he wouldn’t be able to talk Sam out of this, he was forced to relent.

Now Sam’s indeed planning on diving for that gun so they can hopefully prove it’s not the one that killed John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington).

That would clear Alexis’ name, but Sam may be taking far too big of a risk!

This whole situation feels like a setup for Sam to be presumed dead after her river search goes wrong.

Is Sam about to get caught in the undercurrent she claimed she could handle?

Will Sam drown in a diving accident and leave her loved ones devastated?

This could give Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) another reason to blame herself for the chain reaction she caused with that stolen weapon – and it may give Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) another chance to blame Kristina!

Of course, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is responsible for taking down Agent Cates and creating a murder to investigate.

Sonny’s actions certainly played a role in why Sam’s about to do this dangerous dive, too.

No matter who you want to point the finger at, the show’s gearing up for a speedy Sam exit.

Our predictions suggest Sam will die in a diving accident based on the latest info, so we’ll see if her body ever resurfaces or not.
