General Hospital actress Haley Pullos has received her sentence for her 2023 DUI and subsequent wrong-way crash. She appeared in court on Monday, July 29 where a judge decided her punishment for the hit-and-run that occurred over a year ago. Here are the details of Haley Pullos’ sentence and what’s next for the young star.

Haley Pullos Receives Sentence In Wrong-Way Crash & DUI

The 26-year-old GH star has already served 90 days in jail after she surrendered herself in April 2024. In photos from inside the courtroom, Haley was wearing an orange jumpsuit eagerly waiting to hear from the judge.

Her attorney, Dan Melnick, confirmed that she is set to be released from jail immediately. “Haley was sentenced to probation with 90 days county jail with time served, a nine-month DUI program, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) program and continuing private counseling,” he told People.

The General Hospital actress was first arrested in April 2023. She was involved in a wrong-way crash on a freeway in Los Angeles. The accident resulted in property damage and bodily injury. Haley Pullos fled the scene of the crime, but it was later discovered that she was under the influence. Eventually, she was charged with a felony DUI.

When police initially tracked Haley down, she was trapped in her car. They had to use the jaws of life to remove her from the vehicle. She was taken to a hospital for treatment. The other driver involved in the crash, Courteney Wilder, was also brought to the hospital and sustained major injuries.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged Haley Pullos with one felony count of DUI causing injury, and another felony count of driving with a .08 blood alcohol content causing injury. She was also nailed with a misdemeanor count of hit-and-run resulting in property damage.

General Hospital Star Still Faces Other Legal Trouble

At the time, she pleaded not guilty to all charges. However, in January, Courteney Wilder filed a lawsuit against the General Hospital actress. Haley Pullos’ legal team responded to the suit and denied “generally and specifically each and every allegation” made by Courteney. She also denied responsibility for repayment for any injuries Courteney allegedly sustained in the matter.

Haley Pullos filed a counter-complaint, arguing any “damages” the other driver alleged were not caused by her. Instead, she argued, they were “proximately caused by either the sole negligent and/or intentional conduct of Plaintiffs.” The General Hospital star asked for the case to be dismissed and requested Courteney cover her legal fees.

After the wrong-way crash, Haley took some time away from General Hospital and her role as Molly Lansing-Davis. She entered a rehab facility and reportedly needed “a little time to recover.” Haley then surrendered herself in April 2024 to serve her expected 90-day sentence.

“Haley is very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence and for recognizing her remorse and the strides she has made in her sobriety,” her attorney said in April.

It is not known whether or not Haley Pullos will return to General Hospital following her jail sentence.
