General Hospital Spoilers: 5 New May Sweeps Shockers – Tragic Loss, Fresh Face, Jason Drama and More

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that some new info has emerged for May sweeps, so let’s discuss all the highs and lows ahead. We’ve got five new shockers to talk about, so here are updates on the excitement that’ll play out all month long.

1) Jason and Carly zero in on Ava

For starters, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will zero in on Ava Jerome (Maura West) as a dreadful presence in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) life.

As Carly and Jason’s fears grow, they could plot a takedown that’ll leave Ava with plenty of regrets!

Ava could easily get accused of messing with Sonny’s meds by the end of all this.

At the very least, Ava didn’t tell Sonny the truth – and that decision could certainly come back to haunt her.

2) Tragic loss for Port Charles

Although Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have a wonderful wedding celebration coming up, tragedy will strike in the aftermath.

It sounds like Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) grim exit could be just around the corner.

3) Fresh face shows up

Fortunately, it won’t be all doom and gloom during May sweeps!

There’ll also be a fresh face who shows up in Port Charles and makes some waves, so stick with us for more predictions on this GH character’s upcoming arrival.

4) Danny caught in a crisis

Since Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) is determined to form a real bond with Jason, that’ll continue to put him at odds with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

There’ll be more clashing between Jason and Sam as well, so that’ll leave Danny caught in a crisis.

Will Sam end up being right about the danger Jason brings to Danny’s world? Could Jason become Danny’s hero in a risky situation instead?

5) Alexis learns law license outcome

Over with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll head to Albany with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) for her hearing.

Diane will work to convince the board of appeals that Alexis deserves to practice law again, so Alexis will await her ruling soon enough.

Will Alexis ultimately get the good news she’s been hoping for?

This storyline would be pretty pointless otherwise, so it looks like Alexis will indeed celebrate getting her law license back for May sweeps.

General Hospital spoilers say some great stuff is brewing in multiple storylines, so stay tuned!
