GH Spoilers Wednesday, May 1: TJ’s Growing Doubts, Elizabeth’s Concern, Maxie’s Plan
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, May 1, 2024, tease growing doubts, concerns and plans.

TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) has growing doubts, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has concerns, and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) develops a plan.
TJ’s Growing Doubts
At TJ and Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) place, they are having a meal with Kristina.
TJ has growing doubts about Kristina taking proper precautions with her pregnancy as Kristina says she has no intentions of staying away from “him” likely meaning Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who’s had a target on his back and possibly more than one.
Kristina is especially worried about Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) influence on Sonny and her constant hanging around him.
She’s even more worried about why Ava is living with Sonny and suspects there’s more going on than just safety measures involving Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
TJ would prefer for the sake of his baby, who he and Molly are supposed to adopt when Kristina gives birth, that she would stay out of danger!
Natalia Rogers-Ramirez’ Surprise Visit
In the meantime, Molly and Kristina’s mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gets a surprise visit from Natalia Rogers-Rodgriguez.
More than likely she’s talking to Alexis about Kristina and Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) relationship possibly progressing even further as she says that can’t happen.
Natalia is interfering and controlling every facet of her daughter’s life and career, and perhaps Alexis is giving her mom to mom advice to steer clear!
Running an adult child’s life to the point of making all their decisions, not allowing input from the adult child does nothing but drive them away!

Elizabeth’s Concern
Elizabeth is concerned about Aiden Spencer (Enzo DeAngelis) as she spots something on his backpack-it’s pink.
She asks him why is there paint on his backpack, and he may not even be aware it’s there. Did someone tag him or vandalize his bookbag because he’s openly gay and likes a guy at school and it’s mutual?
Is Aiden being targeted by a homophobic gang, and in danger? Elizabeth has enough problems with Jake Webber (Hudson West) and his problems with his dad-what’s going on now with Aiden?
Meeting With Curtis Ashford
Meanwhile, in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) office he’s having a meeting with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner.).

He tells him there is nobody that he trusts more than him to take charge-it sounds like he’s talking about the new project they met about a few days ago.
At first he and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) just wanted Curtis to be a spokesperson, but now Drew wants him to head up the whole project. Curtis looks deep in thought as he listens to the details.
Maxie’s Plan
In the Deception office, Maxie develops a plan as she tells Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to please stop and just tell her, as Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) looks on.
There was some confusion about who the Face Of Deception was at the Home and Heart show, and Lucy made it worse as she took on the task herself.
She got way off track on live tv, talking about her being arrested and other things, but Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) had saved the day.

Earlier, Natalia had stopped at Maxie’s office talking bad about Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Maxie put her in her place. Could there be a problem with Blaze being the new Face of Deception because of her mother’s interference and Lucy has to be the bearer of bad news?
Nina Reeves Is Hopeful
Elsewhere, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is hopeful, as she gives someone some sound advice.
She tells the person to make sure to know what they’re getting into, and her hopefulness implies she’s talking to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). Previously, as she and Drew rushed to get themselves dressed after “it” happened again, Willow knocked on Drew’s door.
Later, they were still talking when she came by again and Willow came to talk to Drew about the spokesperson job for the non-profit. Willow gave some reasons for Nina to hope about their relationship.
